The trick with mines is to put them at slight angles or in pot holes made by explosions

No ones going to be able to see mines until they cross over a slight incline or hill. Which then its too late.

I have a couple of questions/confirmations about suppressors/subsonic ammo.

Suppressors remove muzzle flash and remove minimap detection (at certain ranges), correct?
And subsonic ammo removes tracer rounds and noise in general?

Therefore, with the GVT, i can use a supressor but my opponents can still see my tracers, ya?

Also, there is no 1-shot headshot with any weapon using both Subsonic Ammo + Suppressor? Is that correct?

yea thats all pretty much correct. and sws subsonic should be fine for headshots @pulsar cloak

theres a handful of subsonic ammos that also have regular(or higher) damage stats. normally they do less over range

like m5a3 subsonic for some reason has better range than standard ammo

symgg's google doc shows SWS does a max of 32.2 beyond 150m with supressor+subsonic ammo, with a x3 multiplier for headshots. so i believe that it only does 97 damage on headshots at long range with the combo. if im wrong, id love to know. i dont have it all unlocked yet

Full podcast (episode 9) summary:

They're wanting to discuss stuff earlier in general for podcasts, vault weapons was the first part of it.
G57 was nerfed for burst fire because statistically the top 1% of players started using it then it trickled down to others.
Vault weapons getting attachments, a wide range from 2042 but not the full list (guess is probably weapon dependent). They will release in waves, not all at once.
They'll wait a bit for rebalancing after attachments to see what competes with main 2042 weapons.
Alternative weapons types are being looked into for vault weapons (not confirmed to be coming, just being looked at).
Universal skins for vault weapons is confirmed for season 5.
RM68 nerf confirmed for season 5 (fire rate likely).
Next vault weapon has a 50 in its name for Season 5 "is a studio favourite".
