You're right.. but affects range.. also its almost impossible to be stealth or not getting spotted in bf 2042... so i rather use the factory barrel and give me that extra range.. even if its minimal.

barely anyone checks their minimap so its not very useful in terms of removing your dot but it does make the gun noticeably quieter and that helps when flanking, especially on a 50 mag smg
