drum mags specifically sometimes have their own unique reload animation on weapons that can be longer

40 drum mag sfar reload speed is 4.25 empty, 2.875 tactical

pretty minor for literally double the bullets

thats the only downside of drum mag

so you just run drums on everything

AP ammo is just shit universally but also has no extended or drum so it's worthless

close combat ammo is worse on 90% of guns with a handful having genuine use for it (when it isn't the default like on most smgs) and it still normally doesn't have bigmag

high power is the closest one to actually being useful

and that's completely random from gun to gun; high power makes some guns have significantly better damage models, and on other guns all it does is make you go from 6btk at 50-75 metres to 6btk at 60-75 metres

there's not even a fucking damage graph in the game

bf1 had a damage graph and the ranges of that were smaller than 2042

Ok, so I'm hoping someone can help as this is driving me potty. The game has been running fine until a couple of months ago. No changes to my PC were made but the game just stopped running. At first i would get the EA app crashed and to reload the app (which never worked) Now the game just wont execute. Its installed and purchased via Steam, Ive uninstalled the game and steam and the ea app, removed my AV (Kaspersky and Malwarebytes) . When executing the game, it says the game is running on steam, the EA app opens then closes without displaying any data, (it does this 3 times) then nothing. If i execute the game from the EA app, the same thing happens but it juts takes me to my library. Ive run with Admin rights too so I'm sure its not a permissions issue. Any help would be very much appreciated

I've had the same issue on PC and if when you launch the anti-cheat doesn't ask if you want to run it, then the client closes. I launch a second time and if the anti-cheat loads the window where you are asked if you want to run it, and I choose yes, then it works. Sometimes I don't get that windows prompt when launching the game and if not, then it won't run. When I do get the prompt, then the game runs. Maybe try launching the game from outside the EA client.
