I can afford premium. I bought it for every other game. The system is just not conducive to keeping the community together. Only game that handled it well was BF1 because they actually had mix map servers that were popular. It’s one of the only games with paid DLC you can still find people playing the DLC on.

The problem with live service is that players expect less. And we shouldn’t. I really doubt DICE made more money off premium than their current model. But because the content is “free” they get more of a pass because it’s free.

Like, take the argument for replacing the Lis TGM with the SRAW from BF4. TV missiles being available to an infantry character is a problem for various reasons, including the fact that they are incredibly easy to steer considering the camera follows the missile, they oneshot most air vehicles except for transport helis, they can be shot from behind cover completely out of the line of sight of potential targets, and she has effectively an infinite supply of them because that's how specialist gadgets work.

Replacing it with a SRAW would fix like half these problems. It would take more skill to use because the camera stays at where you're standing so it's slightly more difficult to hit air targets and especially air targets that are moving with it, and it would remove the issue of missiles being shot from behind complete cover, since you'd need to actually maintain eye contact with your target the entire time. It would make oneshotting air vehicles less of an issue because it now takes more skill to do so, and as for the infinite supply thing, that's just how 2042 works, i'm a man of science not a man of God.
