Boris turret is still setup as if it were meant to target just infantry...5 round bursts, doesn't properly acquire targets unless you stand next to it and all that shizz. He is legit useless as an engineer compared to Crawford

I played him for about 15hrs post 3.2...but found him and his gadget mostly useless against vehicles. Swapped to Crawford until they rebalance

His turret also deals 0 damage to the Hind

The use comes from being able to identify where vehicles are from a long distance, it’s not meant to kill infantry or vehicles, it’s just spotting. Which I feel is a nice balance

An automatic turret just never really works out well in games but it’s managed to fit into a nice niche

In this instance you can just set up the turret and go about your business, but if it starts shooting you’d know there’s a vehicle there. The target prioritisation can be a bit iffy but that’s how I think they’ve designed him to play now

Its just terrible in action. In practice sure it seems fine...but he is by far the worst engineer

A turret was simply a poor gadget choice, it would either be too strong and annoying or weak

Zero point in taking him over Crawford. You repair slower and your gadget (Which also requires you to stand within 1 meter of it for it to do anything useful) does next to no damage to even light armor...cos it only fires in 5 round bursts (A change they made to make it less effective against infantry...which is now not its main target)
