The projectile explodes 3 meters after reaching the pinpointed destination, so ideally, you should pinpoint the exact cover the enemy is standing behind and then shoot above or around that cover.

Also, don't use it against enemies that are standing in the open, you won't be able to consistently pinpoint the proper range.

Lastly, the maximum range is 100m, which is useful to keep in mind.
