so imagine you have dlss 5 and you want to play a game in 8k but are only in 4k the vast amount of transistors create an neural algorithm to process 2Dimensional images, and cross reference information back to a native super computer this means if dlss can render an image resolution or frame higher than native you can run a game at 4k 144hz and turn on dlss to upscale the 2D image frame to 8k and look better than native 8k meaning resolution is meaningless
