ambient occlusion, shadow quality and particle effects are the biggest contributors alongside the framerates. AO off just makes it easier to see indoors as well as people in corners. particles can block your vision, and setting them to low reduces that. And shadow quality to minimum will just reduce the chances that your enemy is in shadow

I dont even agree it was as problem to begin with, but if you're going to nerf drum mags you certainly don't nerf them by drastically increasing ADS times. Just increase reload speed or increase the recoil for equipping a drum mag

Interestingly if you loo at the attachments menu for the AVANCYS only that medium range one appears
Chances are… LMGs, ARs and Snipers will receive those scopes, but they won’t be interchangeable between weapon types
Also their descriptions say short, medium and long range. That’s probably how they’re balancing out thermals in 2042
Thermals care about smoke mainly

You can use thermals in day time, since anything with a heat signature which is usually a living thing or a vehicle is hot white, everything else is usually gray
