if you go into a fully restricted xp server, you can still progress guns, but only 1 mastery at a time, as in once you get 30 kills, it stops progressing.

so... theoretically speaking if you made an experience that had you cycle through all the guns, and kill 30 bots, and then just restarted the level, you could do that 40 times to get T1

easy to forget because of how old the game is, but we can go down history lane to show how well fucked the franchise's ironically, most loved games are, coop missions were that broken you couldn't start the missions without bugging out 20 minutes in, you couldn't complete some missions in bf3s campaign because of random ass bugs that stopped you mid way through, multiplayer you fell through the map or your gun would randomly stop firing out of nowhere, thats before starting onto 4s shenanigans

it's not an excuse for how broken they were, DICE spent millions on creating the campaign and it was a non functioning piece of garbage, the multiplayer gameplay wise had flying tanks that randomly disappeared

And they threw Battlefield 3 away when Battlefield 4 came out. Even though they came out with more dlc when Battlefield 4 came out. Battlefield 3 could have easily lasted. The dlc servers are still populated on PC and preferred over 2042.
