i think conquest has pacing issues on last gen; there are times where you go 5+ minutes without seeing another person

idk how it is on current gen

breakthrough it seems is a lot less popular at least queue wise so it takes a while to get a match

but due to it being a mostly frontline battle you're getting more consistent engagements compared to conquest

I think Rao should be reworked again. His tech is better suited for engineer play given his ability to put pressure on enemy vehicles. They should remove the spotting passive and his ability to spot people with his cyberwarfare suit and make him switch places with Boris, who I think is way better suited for Recon due to his turret.

It doesn't really make sense for an engineer specialist to have a turret that primarily spots people nearby.

Now as far as I know there are no thermal optics (thank god) in BF 2042 but if they ever become a thing, I would quite like to see IR-dampening (i.e. not eliminating) clothing, although maybe restrict it to a certain class, i.e. recon or some such (as most IR-dampening items of clothing I have encountered have been oriented and issued primarily to reconnaissance assets such as snipers or ranger units).

The DXR is good vs people
Rail is best vs vehicles and is ok vs people if youre accurate.

Ntw is for memes and is bad at basically everything

It can mount bigger scopes but fires so slow and the arc is terrible

You don’t really need capacity on the DXR. It’s meant for long range (apparently) and the bigger mag just slows down the reload

The drop on the dxr is very low and you can mount a 8 or 10x with it for special shots

I dont use the big scopes all the time, but like it csn be an edge you need. Make that quick pop up shot and make the hit before the rail can charge

Or like people when they dash small gaps

Reaction+charge you WILL miss some opportunities with the rail. Like the rail is generally good but it does have flaws

I use the 4x on it cause my vehicle hunter doesnt really need a 6 to shoot a tank from 400m

At like 800 to 1000m its barely a full length of a condor flying full speed
