i mean. here's the thing. this game has piss for shit amount of weapons, not including vault weapons. and the fact that the additions to the game are summarized by a broken vss, a broken lmg and a fucking railgun kinda pisses me off.

nevermind the fact that there are only 4 guns per class at most (not counting utility as one thing, but rather of shotguns and random shit) but that we havent gotten additions that have been meaningful to the most popular groups (ARs, SMGs)

A rocket in bf4 could potentially do more damage per shot if you hit the armour perpendicular, but a shallow angle does much less damage. In 2042 there are no angular damage multipliers, but the damage to each side is slap bang in the middle of those other multipliers

I’m on the fence about the whole angular damage bonus thing. On one hand it puts a greater emphasis on positioning, aim and movement but on the other, ricochet shots are annoying. It also makes tank combat much less interesting since you don’t need to angle the tank anymore
