Nah it's that the game doesn't actually send updates on where drones are that often. The game gets a message that says "drone is here with this vector". Then the server waits a full second before sending another update. But the game doesn't know where the drone is, so it guesses the drone keeps moving in the exact same direction at the exact same speed until it gets another update that says "jk it's actually over here now", so it rubber-bands backwards to the right position. When you hack the drone, the server immediately tells you where the drone is now, so it immediately moves back to the right spot.

Not really. 1 has a lot of visual recoil on guns so you really hipfire most of them. V has random recoil, although I personally only find it annoying on some guns

2042s gunplay is simple and works. Aim and shoot, and you can actually see your target/reliably hit them at ranges without shitty visual or random recoil

and then the plane flies at 10billion feet til it heals, comes back and starts all over again

2042 jets fucking suck, Futuristic tanks somehow have worse mobility than a tank back in ww2.

if you used stationary AA, the planes could kill the operator long before the AA could get a hit in

and that's assuming you saw the plane, was pre-aimed, and knew exactly when to fire

tow an AT gun in place with a kettenkrad go to town

On Al marj on the last sector there was a halftrack and if you got the gun laying by the side you could position it to cover the entrances. I loved it.

Co op makes learning and upgrading faster and completely avoiding sweats, the combat was simply as the arcade shooter meant to be, it's who ever shot first. Not what upgrade you have or certain angle you hit
