-Remove visual recoil, they realized it's fucking annoying and nobody likes it in BF4, so they rightly removed it
-Make it so bipods on LMG's don't make them total laserbeams
-Fix gas grenades so they don't go through walls and floors
-Make it so you have to take out your grenade first to throw it, to reduce nade spam
-Make elite classes and dreadnaughts exclusive to Operations
-Make Conquest and Domination work properly, like every BF game before it
-Revert sliding back to how it was after the first nerf. Every other nerf was unjustified.

BF4 and 2042 do have very similar map design, and that map design is considered by many of the older fans of the series to be the absolute PEAK of what to expect from the games. Many of us love big open spaces, many of us love having a lot of downtime, many of us love dominant vehicle positions informing the flow of the entire match.

The problem is that the BF community is divided between 2 very different types of playerbases. There's the BF2/4/2042 map design fans, and there are the BF3/BC2/BF1 map design fans. And these two preferences are constantly clashing. BFV and (and actually 4's dlc) tried to appease both sides, and they were mostly successful, but this clash will always exist and will always be a headache for DICE to reconcile.

Good morning, I have a strange problem on my 2042.. I usually leave the function to activate the parachute automatically, but after about 2 days this function is no longer working.. I just now fixed the game via ea play on the pc but the function it still doesn't work.. then I went to the EA website to talk to the support via chat but the website only made it available to me through the forum but my account on the forum is banned and I have no doubt that it was an unfair ban, but I already talked to a lawyer about that

Just wondering here. Anyone know a great location to receive some support with BF2042? Seems to be running in issues that i have had since the begin of game release and wanted to get back into the game with the new season but still having major issues.

Since the PS5 added support for it I'd like to upgrade to 1440p but I can't see myself going bigger than 24", especially for a desk.

WARNING- Battlefield 2042 (EA) and Steam scammed me of $20. (I reviewed the discords rule section, and it does not prohibit this kind of post)
I have proof to back up everything I am about to say, both in the form of screenshots and recorded video. I ask that you please contact me if you have experienced anything similar. I am an attorney and am considering taking legal action, but it would be far easier to do if I had examples of similar events from other people.
I will condense the events as much as possible. One day I attempted to make a purchase of $9.99 in-game currency in order to get the battlepass in Battlefield 2042. Upon completing the transaction, I got an error message in-game that said “ERROR: Purchase Cancelled”. Also, the in-game credits were not applied to my account, so it was clear the purchase did in fact fail. So I tried again, and nothing happened. I assumed it was an issue with steam network or EA network, no big deal. So I waited a minute and tried one last time. Again, the purchase failed and could not be completed. (1/2)

HOWEVER- upon looking at my steam account, it turns out that I was actually charged for every single transaction and money was withdrawn from my steam account each time. I still did not have the currency though! It was not until much later when I restarted the game that the currency showed up; i.e 30$ worth of it instead of just $10.
Here is the kicker. EA customer support claims they did not get the money from this transaction, that they have no control over it and that Steam must be the one to issue the refund. (I have the transcript that EA provides to show this). So I go to steam support. Listen to this- turns out, steam is unable to refund this kind of in-game purchase because EA as a publisher has labeled it as a “non-refundable purchase”. Steam then claims that its EA policy to not refund this kind of purchase without “banning the account” (steam contacted EA directly during my ticket with them apparently and came to this conclusion). THEN, steam said that they realize I already spoke with EA, but that EA wanted to speak with me again. So….I contacted EA again and they sent me right back to steam.
Here is the circle of this fraudulent business practice, which by the way would likely invalidate any terms of conditions that would bar a refund, if any of you similarly afflicted are reading this. First, Battlefield labels a purchase as nonrefundable. Next, via WHATEVER issue/scheme, they con/trick people into purchasing more than what they bargained for. Then, they claim that because they have no hand in the transaction, Steam must issue the refund. However….steam cannot issue the refund since EA labeled it as nonrefundable. I hope I have made it clear how incredibly shady and fraudulent this is.
