I also think it's kinda become trendy for devs to now release a game in a state that is not at its best or expected state for the consumers. Conquest is the best of everything. That's my personal go to mode, but breakthrough is fun if you just want non stop action in tighter spaces

I do agree that BF4 was a diamond. And I know its hard to compare the current state of 2042 with BF4 considering there should be improvements that are not there, gunplay, Vehicles, optimization etc. But still the overall Battlefield vibe you get with intense gunfights, teams rushing to objectives, Bigger Maps(128 players which was a huge plus for me because I really enjoy Big maps and many players) and rather than say they copied cod which obviously they did. but there's prob a reason why right? I personally don't necessarily hate the movement and I'm sure even Call of Duty has taken componenets directly out of battlefield into their game as well.

Well, today has been fun in-game. I'm at an age where I likely won't be able to play as well when I was younger but I'm having fun. Trying to break a bad player habit too from years past: after acquiring a target, continuing to move in any direction while engaging the enemy for the kill. Of some of the best I see out there? When they have a target, they stop moving, drop iron and shoot until they're gone. That's what I'm trying to learn.

Everyone brings up portal yet all that is is just hardcore servers and boosting servers.
