When it comes to fighting vehicles it is 100% down to how quickly you can damage them. Sitting there plinking a tank with a bazooka was not worth it. PIAT was vital in destroying ground targets. And even then, you could drop your whole payload on a Tiger and it’ll still have half health.

I almost exclusively played conquest. And camping tanks was very common in my games. People didn’t care about capping flags when they were dropping 60-0 camping on the hill near B on arras.

You could have a flamethrower Sherman, a howitzer Sherman, or a 76mm Sherman

The problem was that almost all anti-tank weapons did shit damage. It’s not even necessarily that the tank gameplay was unbalanced. Infantry was just useless against one.
