Heres my POV on it. Battlepass is a fun and engaging way to earn cosmetics etc while playing the game. There are free cosmetics items and all that in there too for those that don't want to buy it. Weekly release of skins aren't bad as it gives a weekly revenue stream for the game and also, there isn't any need to buy them. Non of it you need to buy to get to the gameplay content, so there isn't a downside to the skins.
