Yeah but at the same time, it inflates the price of the game, because if you're gonna buy the game and not buy Premium, you miss out on a significant amount of content, and the price of Premium is often close to the price of the game on it's own, on top of buying the game. This also applies to games that are past their supported lifespan, like BF4 and BF1 on Steam, those are being sold for like $40 each because they're games that have premium. Those games are relatively old, but $40 is still quite expensive for games that old that might not have servers being run for them anymore. They certainly don't have DICE official servers.

I also find it a bit hard to get excited for new vault weapons. My reason being that they typically all follow a trend of being extremely underpowered when they first enter AoW. With how the ACW-R and AKS-74U perform for example it's tough to feel excited for guns like the AN-94 coming in because I can only anticipate that they will be very weak at first

Like most things in 2042, I appreciate the effort to try something different and innovate, but some things just work better. 128 players was a neat concept and could’ve worked with better implementation, but I think with how better integrated the maps have been with 32v32 it shows 128 players was a bit too ambitious.

The issue is that because of the poor state that the game was released in with most feedback towards 128p being negative. I don't think they'll do it again.

It's a bit of a shame because they've managed to optimise it much better now.

think it was 2.0 updated, all dmr got a range increase which made the vcar 3 shot kill more reliable at range (doubled damage drop off range)

Yeah when I was T1’ing the AC-42 half the time I had it in single fire with a 3x hybrid and was using it like a rapid fire DMR cause you could pull the trigger pretty fast and it was better over long range that way than in burst
