yes but its gonna be kinda rough. i used to be on a 1660 super and ryzen 3 3100 and performance struggled on 1080p medium.

and that's before this current patch, apparently people are having extra bad performance issues right now due to the update

your framerate is gonna be particularly poopoo in 128 player servers. high player count multiplayer is extremely CPU bound and if the 3100 could just barely handle it, unfortunately your cpu will perform worse

you will probably be fine if you stick to 64 player servers or smaller. 64 player modes are offered in the main modes and portal/solo/coop is also an option.

Game is demanding on both cpu and gpu.

Battlefield 2042 is the hardest game to run on the gpu as well. I have to lower my clock speed by a bin/ 15mhz than other games to play.

Tbf you can't expect newer game to run on potatoes. We will never have better game etc if it's always that way.

There is pc with 3090 and intel 12th gen having the issue it's not a hardware issue it's a game issue as the issue is spread across so many different builds there seems to be a sort of fix by playing windowed mode but those who have done that said it fixed it for a day then the next day it's back to square one

I somehow got unstable 120 all high on bf5 with my set up.

But that's dx12.

And you will get much higher FPS with it than in DX11.

Also I believe DX11 has microstutter issues due to how it presents the frames on the display. I know BF1 does, which is why I switched to DX12 there.

My biggest complaint of the game. Current player base is a bunch of dog shit team mates. No ammo crates. No med crates. Soflams? What's that? Five medics around at all time, but I'd be lucky to have a squad mate revive me. It's pretty brain dead in there sometimes. If you do your role, good for you.

I think its moreso that more people want to play with crossplay on, but yes a large part of that is because they know theyll find more people more easily
