They always are... I'm convinced Xbox One rarely has more than one match of any one game mode running at any given time. If you don't queue up immediately after finishing a match, you're typically stuck waiting forever in the queue, and after about a match's worth of time has elapsed, you'll end up in a lobby with the same people you were already playing with...

Interesting... I wouldn't be surprised if the issues are related. In this case, it really doesn't remember the progress. You can close the game and come back the next day, and it'll still be wherever your last match finished at. It won't update with the matches whose progress hadn't been showing.

You don't want to know how many times I completed tier 68, or whatever it was (easily five or six times, if not more), before I noticed something seemed off... I finally got suspicious and started capturing a video clip at the end of each match so I could compare my progress, and...yeah. It flat-out scraps your progress if you don't return to the menu after a match. I ground out the 100 ribbons for the Liquidators event, and it only tracked battle pass progress for half of it, if that.

I see play style of people solo running and slaying the field but when they die they rage. If they moved with a team slower I bet they would get that rez or support they needed. communication is key in 8v8
