Of course they fucking won't remove SBMM. They want bad players who don't know any better to be stuck in their little brackets and keep them engaged with the game. The more people playing the game for longer, especially those at the middle of the "bell curve" in terms of skill, the more likely they are to spend money on the in game store. A consequence of this is no persistent lobbies, everyone is broken up at the end of the match, no social aspect.
