There was a patch for the bf3 heavy barrel back in bf3 that had it fire match ammo with it. It would be cool to see them add that for heavy barrel compatible guns.

The match ammo would increase velocity and accuracy with the heavy barrel. So if that were an option I reckon that'd carry them a bit too.

But it'd be a bit weird because there'll be no downsides in using them unless you tweak the recoil values of the HB and Ammo type for the sake of balance.

Than again there are zero downsides in using extended mags on the m60 so.

Not that KDR matters a ton in BF but ever since the last patch where controls were 80% fixed I've gone from global stats of a 2.01KDR to a 2.10KDR and it seems like every few rounds it goes up by a basis point.

I will admit that the gunplay actually feels fairly decent now. Still not as good as BFV, but enjoyable at least most of the time.
