Honestly there's no excuse to not have a list of dedicated servers to choose from. I live in the UK and when I play ranked on Apex I always choose New York servers because it works better at the times I play to get easier games. It baffles me that the only way to join other region servers is by joining someone you've added or in the portal browser

i get why they did it, they tried to do the disbanding lobbies from cod to increase player retention, implement some type of start of round balancing, but bf has a lower overall population than cod and cod mostly populates smaller gamemodes whereas bf is all about lots of players.

thats the issue with matchmaking and lack of rotating servers. if the player pop is high you mostly wont notice any issue, well atleast the avg casual gamer wont, but as soon as that one peg falls, the entire system starts to crumble
