COD has always had an arcadey style of gunplay. It is realistic to an extent, but BF takes it up a notch. I also can't stand how in these recent cods / warzone the guns sound like toys

because in COD being quiet is your best chance of survival, and its the reason that perks that make your footsteps and weapons quieter exist, and also why theres a slider option to slow down your walking speed so you make less noise

sound makes you appear on the compass and minimap, highlighting you for everyone else, as it does in battlefield, except in a smaller lobby it makes more of a difference

its also why suppressors see a lot of use in COD games as well

in battlefield it generally doesn't matter

When Hiram Percy Maxim invented the suppressor, he referred to it as the 'Maxim Silencer' in his patent and marketing materials.

A suppressor does reduce some of the sound though. Nothing completely silences a gun, so technically silencer is an incorrect term, but it is used by the majority of the public.

Example. In COD Vanguard the M1 Garand is a 2 shot kill in all situations.

In BFV the M1 Garand is a 3 shot body/2 shot head kill.

That's the grand difference in ttk
