Hey guys I need some help with my controller settings. So I bought BF2042 on EPIC Games because they had a sell for 50% off and when I loaded up the game I found myself with a super buggy/weird controls and when I looked at the settings the button layout looked normal. I looked it up online and spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out and so far nothing. I seen tons of videos and a lot of them said to load up steam and add EPIC Games launcher to "Add a Non Steam-Game...", in which I did. I even added the actual game in too. I clicked on the upper left hand of the screen on steam and selected steam > settings > Controller > General Controller Settings then selected Guide Button Focuses Steam, Playstation Configuration Support, Xbox Configuration Support and nothing seems to be working!!! I don't have controller issues on any other game. PLEASE HELP :(((((((

Epic has terrible controller support and you're still running it from the Epic launcher at the end of the day. Steam Overlay and Controller Input doesn't work as much on non-Steam games as people make out.

I love using the mini gun on the ship cause they have no idea how to get up there

And even when they do I always hide my spawn beacon

btw for defenders on stranded there's this spot on the red crates where it over looks the balcony area overlooking the third sector, u can snag like 20 kills there really quick before ppl catch on
