hard to say because everyone opinion is different, surely is a better state than few time ago but there are still some problems; I can suggest you to have 1 month EA Play subscribtion (it's 4€ if I remember well) so you can play for 10 hours and judge yourself if you like it or not

The 25 mms are hella accurate, taking out infantry is possible with them now. But they are still incredibly floaty and sluggish to fly.
But if you want to play for the piloting I would hold off for the minute, since only 1 can be active on a single team at a time there’s a high chance you’ll never be able to play in one

yes, there are maps and phases where i am aware you do not get access to various things. however having access to air as defence one game, on the same map, shouldnt mean you just get screwed the next because for some reason your air units didnt become available

It seems that air vehicles were removed from defender side on some BT maps in the most recent update.
For example, used to be able to spawn an attack air vehicle on Breakaway defense starting at the 2nd or 3rd sector
Now you just never get one.
