Also, specifically, for San Andreas, apparently there’s a daily limit to how much your character can work out, and it logs whether you’ve hit that limit to a calendar, but without any year data. Once the in-game year rolls around, it thinks it’s the same dates all over again, and can end up permanently blocking you from exercising, leading your character to turn into a flimsy blob that can’t fight. lol

@narrow vale If you're looking into playing C:S heavily modded with custom assets, you're going to need a lot of memory. I run 64Gb and can still outstrip what I have available. The reason is the crappy design based on the old Unity engine. The way the game works with custom assets is that it will load everything to memory as a reference. A way to get around this for the long-term is to run a separate SSD with a fat page file. It will transfer all the custom assets into it after first load and leaves the memory free for the rest of the game.

They can't overhaul C:S unfortunately, trust me, we've tried. Most of the mods out there are attempts to fix the broken parts of the game. The base core features were written by a guy in a sort of contracted blackbox operation. A couple of our modders have been hired by C:S over the years to try and help sort out what was done.

I am not a fan of wipes in any game. I think that instead of wiping, to keep with immersion, there should be tax brackets that equalize the field from an economic standpoint. Destroying someone's cache of whatever because new players are coming in is wrong.
