Ubisoft in a nutshell: There is no passion left in Ubisoft games. Everything looks cheap and outdated. The only good game I have played from Ubisoft in a decade is Anno 1800 but everything else in their catalog is just really cheap textures, cheap animation, cheap 3D models without any detail, downgrades, a faceless corporation with no charisma and these games are made for median gamers that are not concerned with the quality of the product as long as they get the new Assassins Creed every year. You can say what you want about the development of games like Dead Matter etc. but I would rather pay 30$ for people to work hard on product that they believe they can achieve than 60$ for a product that hasn't been innovating for the last 5 years. For fuck sake Rainbow Six is 6 years old soon and it's still peoples only choice when it comes to a good shooter. Ubisoft is this industry version of a frozen pizza.

I've played it. IF you like Star Wars, especially this time period, it can be fun doing the personal story solo. Then you can do endgame when you reach level cap. (Although you can start story mode endgame content pre-level cap.)

It is a continuation, to a point, of the single player KOTOR, but not as good, storywise.

Also, if you don't pay for the sub, it is A LOT slower and somewhat painful.

Red Dead and GTA V feels like the game is held together by a string that's about to break

Really awkward movement and animations as well as the bugs and glitches that can really just halt anything you're doing

Storyline is phenomenal (as always with Rockstar games) but the feel can turn into a comedy or aggravating mess because your character gets stuck doing something while an NPC is railing bullets up your ass

RDR2 shows that they're getting better with animations but there have been several times where Arthur just gets literally stuck on nothing and I have to reset the entire mission because I can't throw down fire on myself or whatever it takes to respawn and go to the last checkpoint

Looting houses feels fluid but for some reason harvesting a lot of herbs or skinning a lot of animals that died together feels like your person just gets tired or feels too lazy or reluctant to do it

One of my main problems with the story was Chapter 5

Chapters 1-4 feel great and then Chapter 5 feels like the writers just hit some kinda wall or took a weird writing break

Online Red Dead is pretty much unplayable imo, it's getting better but it shouldn't have been in the state it has been

I assume it sucks so much because Rockstar knows they can't get too creative with it's missions other than robbing, stealing, kidnapping, for Online where there is no real storyline

I also have no idea where Online lands on the time-line because|| Sean's head is still there||

Not sure why there isn't a private session feature for this game and instead just an always public session and knowing how bad GTAO's security is, I assume it's the exact same with RDR2's

Oh yeah I had a moment where an NPC was just unkillable... worst part is that I had to kill him to progress. Sat there for 5 minutes while Dutch was just firing rifle round after rifle round after rifle round. I took a shit, took a shower, began making dinner and the guy was still fucking alive with Dutch shouting and yelling at me to take cover and whatnot.

On top of that onslaught of bullets, beforehand I headshot him 4 times with a Revolver, 6 different arrows, 5 shotgun blasts to the face, 28 stab wounds, 4 dynamite sticks and I just gave up. Got fixed after a checkpoint reload tho

all this talk about storyline and checkpoints makes me wanna revisit Halo LASO
