I like the new R6S updates coming, with the exception of the breaking glass of the Mira and Maestro. That's just going to get spammed incessantly and makes the ops virtually useless. Big difference in a hardened cam versus a utility that is the special ability of an operator. Felt the same way about the Echo nerf--if Lesion can have invisible toxic plants, I should be able to have an invisible robot.

Sort of seems like a scheme to get people to pay into the ecosystem to purchase the new ops by artificially outmoding old ones.

I mean, on one end you have a stationary close range mine that makes the attacker pause to pull the needle out on the other you had a neigh invisible drone on the wall and shot the attacker with a shockwave that made it even harder to see.

I object, it's incredibly risky to fight a Mira window head-on and if you do manage to break the glass then either the window has been abandoned or the defender did a fucking terrible job at holding it

Great Maestro cam placements also make meleeing them less viable or safe

In general being able to shatter Mira windows and Maestro cams with a melee adds an extra layer of counterplay against them but it doesn't make a significant dent in their overall strength

Taking them out with vertical play and explosives is gonna remain equally common

The other bit regarding Maestro or Echo, when they're on cam/device, they're stupid vulnerable. So, now they're making them vulnerable and patently useless? This just means cam placement is going to be more extreme to prevent reach for the former. The latter, they're just screwed and almost noone plays them anymore in most matches I've been in as of late.

If they buffed Echo's bots speed to flick from area to area, it might make more sense as a balance.
