Like, a pretty world isn't enough to sell the game and nor is the setting. It's combat doesn't look particularly engaging, it'll have rpg grind systems and probably a very weak story.
If I want it's shadow stealth mechanics i'll play splinter cell. If I want good parkour I'll play the ezio trilogy. If I want good combat and solid...basically everything else, tsushima is right there
Mirage had a weak story but it's combat was fun, stealth and parkour was far and above what we've seen recently, and it had those systems interweave in ways that it hasn't for a long time.
Shadows being an open world with mostly flat terrain basically rules out any fun parkour. So it's stealth will have to be really good to be worth £60

I didn’t want to ping him separately. I think I pissed him off :/ . I don’t think anyone here plays first descendant maybe one other person. I played one match of for honor with a new hero I bought (haven’t played in years, decided not to go into practice to check the moveset) I got my ass woopped so badly in dominion (4v4) I nearly uninstalled the game but didn’t instead I closed application. I’ll come back to it with a clear head and practice some beforehand.

I'd say most of the 2042 weapons have alright reload animations but some of the vault weapons definitely feel clunky and awkward.

Honestly, I think it's all about implementation and theme. I think big part of why specialists left such a bad flavor in the mouth was that initial tone the game shipped with. Like all the specialists making those very cringe quips and one liners.
