It's strange, there are some type of horror experiences I don't mind much, but I feel like it's when the horror side of it is more of an atmopshere thing, a side effect rather than the core design

Gloomwood is meant to have horror elements, but it never gets to me. Stalker has thin run down laboratory corridors with invisible bloodsuckers yet I'm fine with that. But give me an open ocean or a jumpscare and I crumble
