That to me is what a theme in terms of game design relates to, its story, but I’ve seen some people say for instance ‘X is themed after a stealth game’, which is just a genre.

Didn’t enjoy the demo. HDR isn’t well implemented. Gameplay is clunky and boring. Enemies are unimaginative. The whole game feels unimaginative. Level design is subpar. Menu is too complicated and too many things to read. Constant anime music during gameplay. Story is cheesy. Like I’ve mentioned before it tries to be dmc but it’s not as fast or fun or flashy, it also tries to be souls like somewhat but it falls short since it’s not difficult, you’ve got multiple healing options, enemies are bland. Loot system, you can auto loot items that are dropped on the ground if you walk over them. Items are tiny lights and can be missed. No puzzle solving or any puzzle in the demo apart from finding passwords that you have to enter in manually.
