In season 13 they are adding a new world event where flame heart ship is sailing around, and you can defeat it and become a part of the cew

Where you would be doing orders for the ship by going to places to get high tier loot, the ship itself is massive with huge offensive capabilities, and a skeleton crew that will assist you when fighting other crews

Oh in season 12 we have 2 new weapon, a double flintlock and a throwing knife, 3 items being grape shot cannon balls, a portable wind item, and a allied skeleton summoner (it's a throwable) plus zip lines and being able to walk on your harpoons lines
