This is the way. Solo play is a bit mwrh and i feel you need atleast some randoms. But seeing a friend on your friendslist play it and joining them is best part. Extra company is always good company when you're spreading democracy

And while coop games are always better with friends, it feels different than other ones. Like i like playing division 2 solo due story missions, doing stuff on my own pace and so on. Or when you're playing l4d/vermintide and some randoms join and instantly it becomes a speedrun/rush. That pressure isn't really there in HD2. People can go off on their own and you still get their loot, the only thing that matters is that y'all be on time for the evac ship xd

your strategems dictate how you play, but there is not a class system or structure

we could all play railgun + jump pack

having a wide range of abilities will do you well
