I think Destiny has the cleanest UI and paved the way for all these modern takes on UI.
And they did it with matching a theme to the game unlike CoD's and BFV's UI which feels so out of place with the game's theme.

it's not just souls hard it's completely wonky ass balancing
i steamroll regular enemies for 10 minutes then all of a sudden i need to face a boss with a million hp and one shot stagger combos who doesn't even take damage because my build isn't correct to kill it
and of course i then need to either keep trying to restart the whole mission to buy weapons that will hopefully make the fight easier
