There's leveling up, you can learn moves from different characters, there's items, etc. You travel the world to learn to fight, etc. Use different styles to level up the style and then speak with your manager to maybe learn a new move, it's actually pretty in depth

This really comes down to preference. There’s many great open world games. And many shit open world games.

For example. Some people love Ghost of Tsushima’s open world. And while I do think it’s pretty beyond belief, I find it incredibly boring. Repetitive. And unnecessary. That game to me would’ve been better as a linear title with some open areas like God of War.
