I don't really grind in destiny, I'm in it for the lore/world really. I have about 160 hours in total. I only wish I had the decication to do the raids/dungeons but other than that I complete everything story related solo.

Whether paying so much for it is worth it or not is a personal choice, I've bought many games recently that I ended up dropping right away. At least with Destiny I know I will enjoy it to a certain extent, so I bought lightfall.

My problem with most looter shooters is that they rely on just purely number stats for difficulty rather than having actual difficult to fight enemies or arenas

Borderlands does this quite well as the variety of enemies and the arena design are actually challenging and allows the players to be more creative in their builds as well as strategies

Honestly, it's hard to tell just by looking at the gameplay whether the gameplay loop will be enjoyable. There is no gun customization as far as I can tell, and I don't know if any game other than csgo can get away without attachments.

I donno about The Finals in terms of gameplay. Presentation and style is cool, though i wish that style was more present in the UI, but I don't really like the excessively long TTK combined with all the effects on screen during a fight and the fact that there's a medic character with a TF2 med beam that is Very effective.

like, the medic character is gonna be a very strong pick for basically anyone playing this game, and killing the medic is gonna take a while.

A fun gameplay loop is perhaps the hardest thing to get right. I haven't played it yet so I can't comment on it.

Also one of the biggest draws of fps games and their content creation is weapon builds. I haven't seen a single attachment so far.
