I don’t think alien isolation is as scary as the outlast games tbh. Those rely heavily on jump scare. I think part of what makes outlast 1 scary is the dated looks, it’s dark af and you have to hold up a camera. I’ve never been a fond of horror games many years ago. The way I beat my fear etc is even if I’m scared I just push forward. Sometimes is just rush if I have to. If there’s a door in front of me I kick it in if I have to and face whatever is in there. If I crouch around in the dark contemplating how I’m going to open this scary door im just making it worse for myself. That doesn’t mean I still won’t scream a bit when I get jumpscared lol. For some reason I found Layers of Fear scarier than most horror games. My friend felt differently about it.

The best way I can put it I guess is that I loved first playing it at the very start, something about it brought me into it back in 2014, but I didn't really know what the game was back then and simply didn't know what to do

I didn’t really like haunted and plunder was just one big grind hence the higher lvl.

Don’t get me wrong, haunted wasn’t a bad season but it got old really fast for me.

Which I’m very hyped for

The DLC are improving like every year since beyond light. The events in the DLC are also getting at that point where the light and dark saga is getting a lot more interesting with bigger events happening like the war that will be going on in Lightfall.
