stalker right? it's pretty cool, they have this factions system. missions could affect the standings with the factions, but if you played it like a true stalker you could end up in situations like this where both sides are friendly to you and the fighting won't affect you. really like that you didn't have to take sides, yet the world kept on going and conquering places or losing them without any of your influence.

it is! like the freedom faction had this huuuge as compound as base. and the duty faction wanted to overtake it. in some playthroughs they managed succesffully and moved in. in others they were repelled. all without any of your help. (though you can ofcourse opt to get a quest from them to assist or defend) quest givers you meet in ze beginning could be found in a bar later down the road or the quest you had from them suddenly cancels because the quest giver ran into a pack of wild dogs xd. such is life in the zone. unpredictable and moving on without giving a damn about you and your actions 😄
