So, I just beat the one level that the closed beta for The Outlast Trials has.

I played it by myself, so this isn't representative of the multiplayer experience, but the game itself..It is Outlast. There was nothing technically wrong with it.

I did almost die on Easy difficulty so make of that what you will.

Also, none of the social features[Voice chat and Ping/Voice Wheel] seem to work in the actual social hub, the Sleep Room.

I donno if that's a closed beta thing or if that's a bug.

I think i figured out why custom blueprints aren't in the game.

I only run the drill charge now anyway, its versatile

great way of stopping vehicles in ground war and invasion, a single drill charge against most of the armored vehicles is enough to take them out

plus even if you throw it down and it doesn't drill it still does a fair bit of explosive damage when close enough to an enemy, so it can work well enough like that too

I haven't tried throwing it at a player tho, I wonder if it sticks like the shock stick does
