Like i just watched footage of MW22, and then transitioned over to footage of Warzone, and the difference is night and day, i can see what's going on much better.
it also helps that Warzone doesn't have the ridiculous amount of visual recoil that MW22/Warzone 2 have.

they're not changing the minimap for the same reason that they're nerfing movement, and the same reason that SBMM is a thing. It's protecting the casual players from more skilled players, because IW and Activision know that keeping those players happy means they get more money from microtransactions.

you're not longer glued to a minimap and ui elements. when bfv removed hud shit and spotspamming people complain too, cause they were soo used to casual elements like that when they had to actively observe their environment they can't.

Yeah but here's the thing about that, it's always been a thing in CoD. Nobody's really complained about it, and it didn't really hinder the ability of better players to play the game, but now that people can just shoot their guns from a corner without a suppressor and not show up on the minimap, that promotes hiding and camping.
If you were a good player you were never glued to the UI anyway.
