It's less of a ping issue and more of a packet loss? Basically your inputs to the game doesn't get sent to the server because of a problem with your connection (or the server) so the game doesn't receive anything from you.

Overall yeah. 250 isn`t so bad. In some games up to 50FPS more, doubled Vram (more future save) better Raytracing performance (ok still bad but...)
for like ac valhalla on medium nearly 50FPS more. Even on Ultra we speak about 20 FPS more.
and last a higher chance of driver "lifetime" service. Nvidia likes to drop GPUs fast in case of new features.

Nope. My stock 3600 cl16 ram with stock loose subtimings latency was around 50ns. Tuned 4000 cl15 ram with tight subtimings got me to 38ns. In 2042 about 15-20 fps increase esp in the lows

I just tuned my 2x32 3600 C18-22-22-42 kit a few days ago with Hynix MJR (a mid/average die) to 4000 with same primaries and tuned secondaries and tertiaries and it helped

Yeah but the MemTest86 program runs off a USB drive so it avoids OS corruption (to some extent) and ensures at least some reliability for the OS

OCing RAM is scary ngl. I tried it once and it was frustrating having to reset the CMOS everytime, worried that my system wont POST anymore after each attempt lmfao. I just ended up enabling XMP and forgetting about it.

Yeah it can be frustrating, it comes with experience TBH... heavily depends on your mobo mfg., kind of sticks, what config, etc.

But test mem 5 is soo hard on the ram the temps were going nuts. It runs even hotter than gaming and gpu dumping 400+w of heat upward

I left tREFI on auto since going too high will cause corruption/instability... although I did tweak tRFC from auto value of ~1040 to 920 since at 900 it gave a few errors on MemTest86 and Karhu
