you def need to do in safe mode, anyway just boot your pc normally then do win+r key and type msconfig go to the 2nd tab and find safe boot and check the minimal box

apply and reboot, now when tou boot in safe mode do msconfig again and uncheck that boc, run ddu "restart+clean" and you re done

Im currently playing battlefield 2042 with a rtx 3080 and intel i7 11700kf at 1920x1080 on all max settings and every distant object from parachutes, helicopter blades, bullet tracers, to helicopter flares look awful. My FPS never drops below 70 and everything within a 50 meter radius looks amazing but everything beyond that is this undetailed, pixelated mess. Ive tried everything from adjusting all the in game settings multiple times, reinstalling, to changing the program settings in the nvidia control panel and still no luck. Any solutions? thanks

refresh rate is essentially the maximum FPS that the screen can show you. but it doesn't mean it will give you 144 fps, as how many FPS the game has is dictated by PC rig, primarily the GPU and CPU, a better GPU and CPU means more FPS.

1660 super/ti for the GPU. Unfortunately you have to upgrade your entire motherboard and CPU but you can get a B550M motherboard and an Intel Core I5-10400 as a bundle for a discount. These make great upgrades

For my personal experience a good budget is around Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ram GPU depending of your preferences but I would recommend mostly a GPU at around RTX2060

If your Intel core has an integrated GPU you can go into the Nvidia controll panel under 3D- Settings ->programm search for 2042 you should be able to choose on 2. your GPU
