these cards contain whats called dual BIOS settings

that is the "OC" switch contains its own configuration for things such as clock speed, fan controls etc

generally id advise to just leave it on normal, you wont notice any difference by flicking the switch, other than louder noise

so my game went totally nuts. everytime i try to reconfigure my ads button (right mouse button), the game seems to think i'm using a controller. now i don't have any kind of ads in the game... anyone else experienced this

So for anyone that wants to play controller on PC, I've been through EA support this afternoon about it. For reference, when using my controller the guy would just look at the floor and my buttons were all messed up. They officially don't support controllers for BF2042 PC and doesn't seem to be any plans to implement it either. There are some workarounds if you have ordered the game through steam (where it falsely states "Full controller support") but if you used Origin/EA like me then theres no chance. Hope this helps anyone else in the same situation. Refund on the way..
