Nope. You seems to misunderstand. The look through motherboard compatibility list is a way to secure the system will work, or should work with the same parts. If it doesn’t work, contact your motherboard manufacturers

manufacturers make this explicitly clear because this is literally impossible to guarantee

Had the blue screen of death. Windows error was Overclock_Watchdog_Error. Was told to re-install windows 10 and that got this running again and back to normal. Now after window was installed. Then you DO benefit from more VRAM
