Ik its a beta that there will be frames drops, but even on low settings I'm often stuck in the 40- 50fps range. I have 16gs of ram, CPU: AMD Ryzen 3rd 3100 and my gpu is Radeon 5500 xt. windows has a built in function called smart sense it can break down disk allocation on the system per drive you'll find it under - settings - storage

I can’t say it runs terribly well on Xbox One, but most of the issues I’ve encountered are just the usual things I expect from a beta. Framerate is largely stable and reasonably high, even when the tornado comes through.

I use an Xbox One Elite, an often-forgotten variant of the original model that came with a 1TB internal SSHD. Was running the game from a 7200 RPM USB 3.0 external HDD, though. Funnily enough, I’ve read that, despite being an SSHD, the internal HDD on the Elite is still 5400 RPM, like on all the other Xbox Ones.

The framerate definitely slowed down when the tornado hit, but only really when getting particularly close to it, and it was still playable.

You should try to get Xbox one series S I see them so cheap on marketplace. That or try to get a One X (not Series X) so you at least get some more better performance. I'm actually amazed at how good the game looks on ps4, pro, and 5

Yeah. It’s easy to forget the amount of latitude that’s available for getting games to look decent on modest hardware. Between settings tweaks (that most people won’t even notice the negative visual impact of) and just optimizing a game to run in an efficient manner, you can go a long way...

Eh, I’m pretty happy with the Xbox One Elite. Never really found any games that seriously suffer other than The Crew 2 and Craftopia. The standardized hardware allows them to optimize things pretty well.

I’m planning on getting a Series X eventually (I’m told a friend of mine is actually planning to buy me one...I think it was supposed to be a surprise, but people who were there when he was talking about it blew that, not that he knows...), and I already have a modest PC that I rarely push to its limit, aside from RAM and storage (5000 or 6000-series i5, Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 6 GB, 16 GB RAM). I’m not too picky about performance.

What I do need is a decent monitor. I play on a 22” 1680x1050 Dell from 2009. Have a 47” 4k TV, but I’ve never been able to comfortably game on it. Too far from the couch to see fine details (if I game on it, I’ll often put a chair in the middle of the room), I can never get the image to look good (blacks are always too black, colors are oversaturated, and it has a weird ghosting problem that duplicates high-contrast objects when their surroundings move; for instance, the HUD in FFXV will duplicate when you run), and I swear it has latency issues, even in low-latency “game mode.”

I grew up on a machine that ran Windows 3.1 (which was a program you had to manually launch from MS-DOS), 95, and then 98. The HDD was so big for Win3.1 that it had to be partitioned into C, E, and F to be recognized. It had a 200 MHz CPU. I remember that, because the CPU died, and a friend of the family swapped it with a 100 MHz one, just to get it running so we could offload things. But, it still worked fine, with no noticeable performance impact, so we just ran it as-is. The only other major issue we ever had was that Win95 or Win98 caused it to no longer recognize the 5 1/4” floppy drive.

I’m curious if they’ll do a thing for Xbox One/PS4 versus Series X/PS5/PC, like they did for BF4, with conquest small and conquest large. Bigger maps for the more advanced platforms. The beta map feels weirdly empty and slow-paced much of the time on Xbox One with only 64 players.

Though, on the other hand, the low player count keeps things fluid, because rarely are all objectives well-defended. There’s almost always a place you can go and capture an objective unopposed.

It is a hard decision here. GTX 1080 Ti will get you more FPS on game. On the other hand, RTX 2060 has access to RTX's feature like DLSS and ray tracing which it seems you need to lower some graphics settings off for playable FPS since RT eats a lot of performance and even 2070, 2080 cards seems struggle with.
