i9-12900K vs i9-11900K w/ AVX-512 workload, 12900K resulted in 12% higher single-core
Intel's own claim of 19% IPC uplift probably is absolute best case scenario
DDR5 memory latency is so high that DDR4 is faster in some scenarios
Intel is very sensitive to memory latencies
They are? I thiught that was amd
They re probably gonna improve later
I’ve posted that before. You know he’s trolling because he’s a light mouse wireless shill.
we need more people like this guy ngl
Lightweight mice are based

nope it has always been both
ryzen's inter CCX design means latency has a higher than normal impact on ryzen 3000 and below processors with any impact being more or less fully mitigated on ryzen 5000 because of a fully interconnected CCX
Intel has always been sensitive to latency in terms of high octane workloads like AVX 512 (aka a powervirus), different workloads different latency sensitivity
nah, its the truth and not healthy
i was gonna say something but i dont want to offend nyphon

im fat an unhealthy
it was around that topic
i think the medical term is thiccc
my game keeps crashing when i open it any idea as to why?
no
i have so many ideas to why but theres too many
Intel Arc GPU has 16GB VRAM, performance to compete with RTX 3070, $399-449 MSRP expected
Higher inventory than Nvidia and Radeon
Sadly they are still TSMC
so that could be a supply issue
Among with other components needed
Intel bought 180,000 6nm wafers from TSMC last year exclusively for GPUs
Assuming there's 35-40 DG2 GPUs per wafer, that's over half a million GPUs
Intel GPUs have very small dies compared to Navi 21 and GA102
~330mm^2 for DG2 iirc
Hello
I'm thinking to upgrade my graphic card to rtx 3070 or rx 6800 xt, which one should i choose?
My current gpu is gtx 1080 asus rog one and i have it since 2018 i have no issues so far
6800xt is more powerful in non raytracing situations. if you care about raytracing performance go for the 3070
wait actually i think the 6800xt does ray tracing better than the 3070
Rx 6800xt but can you find it at msrp?
Prices are ridiculous
1080 still a good I personally would wait till thing go back normal
say what now 👀 when do they expect to ship this
Early 2022
DG2 was always targeting a 3070 has been known for a bit now
6800xt trounces the 3070 in any workload situation it's not even a fair fight
Lel srry
Thinking to buy the rx 6800 xt, should i?
I mean I won't tell you what to buy, or not buy, I'll only give you recommendations on the part performance
what you buy is your decision
Tbh i think i'll just go with rx 6800 xt
I found one but with those price i would buy a motorcycle lol
Lol
in a smartphone, what monitors the battery level? and yes this is for homework
No
physically?
ummmm
A charge controller, charge regulator or battery regulator limits the rate at which electric current is added to or drawn from electric batteries.
It prevents overcharging and may protect against overvoltage, which can reduce battery performance or lifespan and may pose a safety risk. It may also prevent completely draining ("deep discharging") ...
im supposed to explain how a smartphone goes into power saving mode
its due to the OS, not what monitors the battery level
android/iOS receive data from the hardware controller which then decide to put the phone into power saving mode once x value of the battery has been reported
Lowers the pstate on the SoC
nah, pstate being lowered is a function of PSM, but its not how PSM is activated
Depends if he needs what activates it or how PSM works
^
including stuff such as SOC pstate adjustments are far too variable for this type of question
especially since each OEM enforces their own scheduling
Which is why I didn't say anything specific about it
is it physically possible to fit a voltmeter into a smartphone?
All phones monitor voltages (but coloumb is used for battery measurement)
😛
Loving it!
Can you guys recommend some good laptops? I can't be at home and have to move back to college by next month so
Primarily for gaming and editing videos
Thinking of the Asus TUF Dash F15. The one with the RTX 3050
And yes, prices of goods are hella expensive in our country cause of taxes and shit
how do i fix a bugged msi afterburner sensor
HWinfo says my gpu uses 1500mhz mem
while msi afterburner says 7500
which is clearly wrong and clearly overkill as none of my games use more than 6
MHz is speed
Do not get the laptop with RTX3050... it is still slower than 1660ti
Ew really?
think about it if it says 3060
the lack of vram is the pain for the gpu, plus the laptop isn't even cheap at all
3060 in a laptop minimum
its different types of reading
The VRAM is the biggest bottleneck in the 3050
at least i wouldn't spend the same price for a 3060 laptop for a 3050
^
i think how it works is hardware info is displaying the speed of each ram chip, whereas msi afterburner is displaying the speed of all the chips combined which is more important to know generally.
but you are also confusing with the speed (mhz) with the usage (Gb)
7500mhz is how many cycles it does a second, not how much data is being stored on the ram.
3050 just sounds like a scam
after googling it this is wrong. gddr can do multiple operations per cycle, so its 1500 x how many operations your vram type can do
which gets you your effective speed.
how much money do i lose to bills if i choose bronze over gold in an r5 3600,rtx 3060ti 240mm liquid cooled 4 fan computer
A couple % of difference
so not much?
Marginal
Graphics card consumes most power
If yearly running cost is a consideration, you could just decrease the clockspeed a tad bit and power draw goes down a lot
My RX 580 will only consume half the wattage if I lower GPU frequency by only 100 MHz
Unnoticeable
does anyone know why my bfv wont start? when i get into game it goes blank screen and it closes by itself
considering my gpu is oc version from factory
yeah
advertised speed is 1725
mine does 1875
maybe more idk
i wonder why they dont say the true number
yeah
Undervolting is a thing too
im kinda scared i might break something so i dont know
Good luck breaking anything
I could easily break my RX 580 using WattMan
Just pump up memory voltage to max and instant deth
That's actually how I fucked up my first one
Next-gen AMD RDNA3 mid-range Navi 33 (RX 7700 XT?) with a small 128-bit memory bus and GDDR6 expected to outperform current flagship RX 6900 XT with just half the memory bandwidth
Navi 33 with only 250 GB/s memory bandwidth faster than RTX 3090 with 1 TB/s

It does have a big Infinity Cache tho
easier than usb 3.0 connector on some boards
it's just stuck there unless you pull out the plastic as well
in mine its super loose though
my old asus board is missing the usb 3.0 plastic housing
infact the plastic was so stuck onto the cable i used a knife to pry it off the end, and it was bending the knife. when it did come off it pinged across the room.
What router should I get for wifi? Im looking for access point ish stuff, cause Im renting a room as a student and I have cable internet in my room (EU). Someone recommended me the asus rt-ax53u, someone else TP-Link Archer AX5
The biggest 3 advantages between different routers are range, configurability, and higher speeds across wifi
Im guessing non of those things really apply to a dorm room.
So imo look for one that has good reviews and a good price
Yeah its a horrible connector
On my board it's the opposite, it's super loose
I'm broke so I dunno how I'm gonna buy this exactly tomorrow
checking the email its playstation pretty much
Nah that is a fake e-mail, just hand me the instructions and I would do it in your stead.
Just to be safe you know

If you look at the specs of asus rt-ax53u and at TP-Link Archer AX5 which looks better?
@molten coral Here's the instructions if needed
no it isn't the login is: notafakemail@fake-email.com password is:Real_it_Isn't
ah thanks, finally after a year I'll get a PS5 i'm so excited

At a quick glance the tp link is better, but as i said the asus one is more than enough for a dorm room
But they are routers? Or
I dont understand a thing lol
I use a standard isp provided router and it serves 3 pc's connected in a lan frequently transfering data at gigabit. It gives strong wifi across a pretty large house and has many mobile devices etc. Pretty much any after market router will be great for you
I use a nighthawk router don't know model but we got it from my cousin for free as he lives upstairs and didn't like our low range router
This is my point
YOU wont notice a difference in speed
Thats because your isp is only providing probably no more than 200mbps
One router can do 1800mpbs across wifi and the other 3000
hm
But your internet speed will be way slower than that in a dorm room
That makes sense, thanks
The difference in speed only applies to businesses or super nerds who have the speed or user count to take advantage of it
Also who doesn't have 1000/1000? It's 2021 lol
Not many countries have good infrastructure to get those speeds
Also NA has ludicrous prices for their isps
thats hilarious
sony thinks theyre doing you a favor by "giving you an opportunity" to give them hundreds of dollars
i pay 100 for 940/35
afaik there are some places you can get that for half that price
Do you have a data cap?
1.5tb a month
I'd run through that like a marathon
Picked me up this bad boy for under $50. This will be mixer to control my individual audio.
im curious to how someone runs through 1.5tb of data..
i barely use half of what im allotted
Which one would you suggest based on what I said?
Fairly easy if you're streaming content to multiple devices or pulling down a shitload of torrents.
It’s just us 2 and only steaming 4K to one device.
Someone hijacking wifi?
Not that I’ve noticed. I do download games often since I delete games often.
hmmm
Any. 3050 laptops has a similar price point than a laptop with a 3060
Weird question. Are there any VRAM Extenders?
As in.
You have your usual GPU but is there a way you can stick another piece in to give it more VRAM? - Like a Barrel attachment for a gun, You're only extending it
if you mean physical VRAM modules, there isn't no, however depending on the motherboard SLI/crossfire with 2 GPUs or an iGPU might be a consideration if you desperately need it
the VRAM modules on the board itself is fused on, it isn't possible to extend it's amount without considering external devices for artificially increasing it
Yeah i was thinking external devices
I was thinking of how people did dual GPU's and how the 3090 had doubled VRAM compared to the 3080ti
what are you wanting it for specifically?
It's just a general question, Even though it's excessive
ah, yeah it isn't possible on ampere aside from the 3090
SLI was taken out of all cards including the 3080ti
Sli?
SLI is the protocol used to combine 2 GPUs to act as a single GPU
Ahhhhhh i did hear that it caused more trouble in the end anyways
You know people can “replace” the size of memory chips from a card that has larger capacity to the one which had less
it did yeah, there's issues like heat, power consumption and a large incompatibility with software
and a massive instability with the card itself
But if i ever want 48 gigs of Vram i know what i want to do !
(Not that i would just saying)
you can yeah, just also take into consideration power consumption
The problem is, people paid for doubled the price with a single card performance, or sometimes worse.
realistically you're looking into 1.2k watts of power minimum for that
Actually since all are here. No matter what the fan, Are Noctuas generally good for 5800x Cpus and up?
Even if it does work, it is not a smooth experience
noctua will handle the 5800x pretty much 99% fine
unless it's the cheapest budget option
Not the low profile one
SF or whatever it is
There are many different Noctua fans and so i'm just generally curious
are you buying them separately?
The D15S works really well on it
Nah i'm just looking at PLE and there are 2 different noctua fans
And i'm wondering if there's so much of a difference
you won't see much difference
I think you are talking the case ram and normal fans
mainly in fan RPM and sound, about all
Ahhh i'm just looking into how well they cool the CPU
NF-A15 will be the highest performing one if it's there
they'll all do the job pretty much fine the actual cooling is 90% done by the heatsink rather than the fans
Ahhhhh
at worst if one is worse it's RPM is increased to make up the difference
As long as you aren’t using i9 11900k, you are fine
LMAO
Don’t worry about sound
Why would you think i ever use Intel!?
It never gonna be a problem
You monster!
11900k needs an industrial cooler at this rate
You know intel is nice, but Intel is more favour into gaming
And that being said. How much better is the 5600 over the 3900xt?
But amd is more into productivity
Yeah
even under massive power load situations with PBO @toxic wigeon (precision boost overdrive) the heatsink will handle it fine
Ahhhh so no matter the Noctua fan i'm fine
Coz you aren’t using all 12 cores for gaming
I'm just thinking since there's a new gen round the corner
Rx 5600 you're netting decent gains over a 3900xt
The myth is, the new products are always around the corners
I think he meant the 5600X…
oh
eh 5600x has a fully linked CCX meaning it's probably preferable over a 3900xt for games, anyways
3900xt would be preferable for production tasks
Ye due to the cores
are you wanting to do anything outside of games
I would say the IPC gains
I think he should be getting a 8 core CPU…
Even 6 is enough
me watching the intellectuals debate
But people may make a wrong decision for not getting the best out of it, with a decent budget
Nahhhhh, Nothing much over. Note the reason why i'm asking for the difference between the 3900 and 5600 is because as i said earlier, Theres a new AMD Gen coming over and i'm wondering how big the difference will be.
ah
No point of getting a 12 core cpu. Short answer
in terms of IPC substantial, in terms of your wallet get the 5800x
Fair enough.
The speed gain over that generation is worth more than core counts
When the new CPU gen comes out hopefully the 5000 series will lose a bit of value and make it a bit cheaper.
You know what
Or i might grab a new gen card and see how that goes
price reduction for the 5600x isn't enough to warrant dropping from 8 to 6 cores
People should always go for the newer Gen products
Coz the subtle differences in IPC makes a huge gap
unlikely, there will be no next generation for a while
the next progress is based on zen 3 aka ryzen 5000 with v-cache
I have a 6 core CPU but it is a pain if I got origin discord steam and a chrome tab running
The performance penalty adds up on my 3600
there will be consumer products that use what's called 3D v-cache stacking @toxic wigeon which will be additions to the products like the 5900x
essentially a 5800/5900x that use the technology
however they will be expensive and won't drastically change the prices of current CPUs
in terms of ryzen 6000 expect it around the fall of next year
with AM5 being announced too*
It's funny getting into computers round this time
yeah the days of not upgrading for 5 years are pretty much over
a 5800x will look like a substandard part within 5 years
5800x is around 551-565 AUD while 11700k is around 455 AUD
11900k was a failed product from the start not too surprised
The mother board will tell the differences but, not sure if you are willing to save a bit to opt for intel Bodie
intel would prefer that rocket lake doesn't exist rather than sell the product
10700k is 339 AUD if it is on sale
oh definitely not alder lake boards will be very expensive
I know. That’s why I have made that statement at first
Coz he can just, literally get a single 5800x, or a 10700k with a Z series motherboard
it is quite funny when a 5600x can beat a failed product like the 11900k under set situations
yes, in the 90s
Now you just buy a gpu with higher vram capacity to begin with
replacing and upgrading the chips on the card is not something I'd want to try
there's some 48 GB cdna and workstation nvidia cards
NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 is the most significant advancement in computer graphics in two decades.
and A6000
the 3090 has double the vram of the 3080 ti by using a clamshell design with vram on both sides of the card.
which is expensive to manufacture, hence the price
Especially now with shortage of everything
SLI protocol does not extend your vram, it keeps the same data on both cards, so the usable vram would be the same as having one card effectively
Except for nvlink protocol over pcie 5.0 , but that is not used in consumer yet
You can do it with 3090, but you need to use linux to use memory pooling.
not required to use linux
CUDA 11.2 has supported memory pooling for a bit now, it requires the software to use it
CUDA handles the stream automatically for memory where it's required using the controller, can be done (fairly) easily on windows 10/11 if the software is actually built for it
hm, guess im a bit out of date
tbf it's barely used whatsoever not surprised you weren't aware
I've used cuda a bit but never pooling
yeah I'm meaning pooling specifically, I can't name a single program which actively supports it natively from 11.2
yea
but you can integrate it if you want
Hi everyone got a question. I was searching for a new gpu and found a 2060 for 650 and a 2060 ti for 750. Still this is expensive but is the ti version the 100 more worth?
neither are worth that much imo
True
at that price, id just go for a scalped 3000 series card
stockx seems to have 3060s for around 600-650 @lofty kindle
Should i wait when it drops
1080

Very pog
Nice Nacho 🙂
ah yes, ashes of the benchmark
why dont we have top mount psu and bottom intake fans for gpu cases?
yours is rotated isnt it?
is nzxt h710 a good ase
case
for a 3060 r5 3600 16gb ram
i dont care abt led lights
why is it always the nice cases that have bad cooling
Because they prioritise looks over performance
ok to clarify, general cooling on it is "good enough", but for the price and compared to other cases, its bad
new pc
Its a server
Its not replacing his pc lmao
Well i guess it is a "new" pc as in he didnt have it before
making a NAS?
Yes

if I ever made a NAS or something would fill it with like 3 GPU's to render stuff
and a xeon or soemthing
Using a 1700x and a Quadro P2000.
Have a ton of spare ones

It's mainly for plex
yeh for plex is good
Bought 16TB (4x4) hoping that will be enough for a while
should do
Can finally give up my google drive
Currently paying 25 euro a month to use 5TB at google ( I know it's a terrible deal)
My old nas is kinda dead so haven't really been using that for like half a year
I hope you are raid 0'ing them
Or maybe raid 1
Because iirc raid 1 has the same read speeds as raid 0 but with redundancy ?
retsam relooc is a good brand
I'm gonna run 1 parity drive and 3 for storage.
I see
wack

Yo
I need help with my PS5 controller
It won't turn on.
I clicked the little button thing on the back of it for the same amount of time told, that being 5 seconds, nothing happened.
is it charged
It is
Ok I fixed it now but now I got another issue
It's drifting like crazy.
Exactly like a Switch's joycon
How do I fix that?
Wtf is this
Now it's going left
I can't even go up
What is going on
OH MY GOD
MY PS5 CONTROLLER IS HAUNTED
It's not even charging even if it's connected
It keeps turning on by itself and instantly turning off
It's drifting all over the place
It's turned off now but it's not charging, at all, even though it's clearly connected.
What happened to my controller
@elder fractal Broken
How is it broken?
It's been 4 months since I had this controller
I didn't do anything to it last night
Sometimes tech is like that
I left it at my table and all of a sudden it's doing this shit
just go through sony limited warranty as it could have been broken
How do I give my controller for warranties?
I don't really know ask sony about that
How
I can't just contact Jim Ryan and tell him how my PS5 controller is having the longest seizure in human history
Dude my PS5 controller is turning itself on by itself and turning off instantly
No, you.
No specs or benchmark yet @waxen pewter
I have a gaming laptop and I'm kinda a little bit scared because it might bottleneck my laptop
Uh rephrase that
I considered buying a 1080p monitor for better performance in 2042
currently running a 1440p monitor but 20-30% more fps is tempting
dlss 2.0 yea.
@leaden tusk only makes sense if it was 144/240hz
currently 1440p/240Hz with 3080
but seeing my fps drop below 100fps in BFV makes me wonder
I even got g-sync ultimate but it feels weird
You will be cpu bottlenecked at 1080p with a 3080
No cpu on earth is able to supply a 3080 at 1080p in bf
Not until 12th gen intel maybe
Especially at low settings
Opinions on the Samsung 980 drive?
pro?
Pro or standard
pro has a higher TBO than standard meaning it has a longer lifespan for writing data, both are great drives though
Yeet
normal is PCIe 3 and pro PCIe 4 difference between them
I know the pro is faster obviously
If I can save a bit of extra money I'll replace the 1 tera ssd with a 2 tera pro
But maybe I'll just go with a 1 tera pro, we'll see
depends on region but if the pro isn't that much more may aswell get it, both are good drives though so pick your poison
only bad choice you can make is choosing an intel SSD at this point
Kek
Me with a 600p 256 GB
Though it's quite a few years old
how is it performing worse than a hard drive
Not really
Not in my use since I don't use all of the cache at once
It's more like a SATA SSD with higher read
you don't use the entire SLC at 256 that sounds like a task in itself
Not in most use no
I'd run through it in one run, well I did, used to have a 660p
Hm I could replace it but I kind of want to wait before I get pcie 4
Is a i5 7500 fine in 2021?
once the SLC filled it was an absolutely terrible experience
never again will I get a QLC drive
mlc?
Only MLC I have is my Toshiba drive
But that's SATA and from 2014
I did have a 1 TB 970 pro at one point though
yeah I ditched my HDDs and swapped them out for 2 860's on RAID
and replaced the 660 with a 2280 2tb
I think it was actually cheaper at one point iirc
let's just say people will have regretted it
was that bad I/O would crunch down to 2mb/s with there being a 20s delay to the write stream
I got it down to 81% health but it's still fine
About same as my Hynix SSD, but that has less writes on it
yeah just about tlc in a nutshell
This midi controller is awesome! Physical faders are always better than having to alt tab out of a game to control volume.
I've been locking into getting something like this for my sound
PC panel Pro I think is the one I want
Hello I have a very shite laptop and I couldn't build a gaming pc cus of the prices. Still I decided to pre order bf2042 because I am determined to play the game no matter what.
Specs:
I7-8565U
MX150 2GB
16GB ram
I heard bf2042 and bfv will run at similar framerates and watched some yt videos on how my specs can run bfv at like 720p 30fps at all lowest settings.
You guys think I'll at least be able to get a cinematic 24fps experience? I don't consider buying any of the consoles either cus I am planning to build my pc soon in a few months time.
that will not provide an enjoyable experience on 2042.
if you could get 24fps at 720p id be amazed. but obviously no one knows for sure
How much longer is Intel gonna make NAND since they sold that market?
NZXT has finally launched a case with good airflow! Everyone rejoice!

pretend the first link never happened
It works
how much will a 3060 get on bf 2042
Nobody knows
I can guarantee it atleast gets 30 fps at 1080p rtx off
lol what timing
Yeah
thats my room
RTX 3060 Super spotted... 12GB VRAM and faster than 3060 Ti
In this sense yes its reliable
however do not use it to compare components
dont search like "3950x vs 10900k" and expect the userbenchmark result to be accurate, because its likely not.
so is my gpu actually underperforming?
yes
what can i do to improve it
Improve thermal
generally people who run userbenchmark are nerds. meaning they most likely have their gpu overclocked
And turn up clock
dunno if i care
yeah
most people oc their shit
i dont
hence why its unreliable
userbenchmarks analytics will be based on cards that are mostly overclocked, and you dont have your gpu oced so it will appear to perform lower out of 100 cards
its not unreliable, because what its displaying is true.
well yueah
it just shows it with oced cards
wish there was an option to opt out of that
if you at random took 100 3060's the majority of them will be overclocked because its literally free performance with 0 adverse effects.
how much can i overclock this thing
without breaking it
you wont break it.
its not possible.
i would say do your own research. look into "how to overclock a gpu" and there will be loads of guides.
so how can i overclock it
that will also display the advantages and disadvantages better than i can, after all its your hardware.
but i run my gpu, ram and cpu overclocked 24/7, and my spare machine has a gpu that is overclocked, and have been for years.
just found out from a google search
generally 3000 series isnt as good as 2000 or 1000 series for overclocking
due to technical reasons.
My card got quite a lot cooler after repaste and removing dust
however it is still possible to see good results
mine is brand new dude
it doesnt need dusting
why?
bro its stuck at 7500 in every situation
its the speed of the ram.
it was not like this before
yeah my afterburner is exactly like that
my gpu is also at idle but because of power profiles the ram is at turbo speeds
id guess that that is because without msi afterburner installed the gpu is doing what it can to clock up? but with it installed its just doing what afterburner says.
and you have it set to stock so
so afterburner says do nothing
thats just a guess tho
probably why
i got like 100 fps before
now it is 130 on witcher 3
anyway studying awaits
🥲
I'll be back in an hour
Yeah
His temp is good
It doesn't have much impact anyway
Pretty much all aib cards are same perf on stock
aib?
whats wrong with biostar
wtf
Very loud card
airport landing

my card usually stops itself on idle
its unhearable tbh
most of the noise comes from the psu
zero fan mode is useful sometimes
it made me freak out when i first booted it up however
i thought it was no workey
i plugged it out and back in
booted a game and it was running fine
To make it a feature
isnt that 2 or 2.5 slot? thats pretty standard now
My GPU fans never spin...is that bad?
Nevermind. I just checked. My GPU doesn't even have fans? Is that bad?
guys
hmm
I have a watercooler
and I have no idea about the ideal temps
I mean, playing bfv on ultra for around 30 min keeps on 60-64c
its ok?
yeah thats normal
Cool setup, just need a decent keyboard, mouse and mousepad
I want a midi type controller too, to control like discord, been looking intonthe PC Panel Pro
Woah you got the korg nano i was talking about. That thing is sweet huh? And waaaay cheaper then the others.
Idk what you use to use it i bought a program called power mixer it was like 18 usd and it lets me use every button for something its great
I need a decent keyboard/mouse/pad or u do?
I did! I love it. I got a free program from github. I can use all the buttons as i wish.
I saw the PC Panel pro. I like more of a profrssional look so I didn't go the rgb route
You do.
What do you suggest?
Artisan Hien, Wooting 60HE and Finalmouse Starlight-12
Personally I don't own the Wooting, but I'm getting it. I have the GMMK Pro, with Panda Switches, not the best for gaming tho.
Preorders for the Wooting 60HE opens 28th of September and expect delivery is Q2, which realistically with this company means late summer next year.
Artisan Hien is the no brainer product out there tho, just won't find anything like it, I have both Soft and Mid version, but currently I'm using Soft.
It might not fit your setup tho, cause you can't get it as a deskpad
We gonna pretend the Logitech x superlight ain’t a thing

What program is it? I wouldnt mind checking it out. To your kb/m question the razer ultimate is the fastest response mouse on the market only beat by the wired viper, optical switches so it uses lights for the switch instead of a mechanical switch. Still feels great and it noticeably more response then my old logitech super light. Also i always recommend keyboards to try out Iquinix. They make an amazing 60% board and a 96% I have 2 of their boards. Switches are lubed stabs are lubed it has a metal fuselage so it feels heavy and well put together.
It depends when you are looking for a keyboard. They almost always have cherry keys in stock then they do specials with holy pandas and khail and stuff plus its all hot swabbale on their new pcb so if you like the board and want different switches you can buy just the switches and swap em out
I feel like the iOS 15 update changed the font again
No?
I was trolling the guy a bit. I have a few custom keyboards.
Did you choose the ''zoomed in'' option for notifications after updating to iOS 15? Could be that @lofty light
Oh thanks i will check this out later Do you have a picture of the program open? I just wanna see its interface if i can bug you for that
Gotcha glad to hear still got some trolling going on
I am not on my PC right now. It is very very simple. Going to look into the one u suggested.
Yeah. I often get people telling me to get a $49 keyboard. So it is funny sometimes to hear peoples answers. So I often play dumb...
The one i suggested looks like an old teamspeak setup from the early 2000's but it works and i can change like how much volume the slider changes at a time so it can change increments of 10 or just 1 and have the slider more tuned in. Idk if that one does it but it was a nice feature but not too simple to use
That is wayyyy more in depth than what I use..I will prob buy it to compare.
Awesome to hear im gonna try yours out and you can try mine out and i hope it works for you! Good luck with it
Na, maybe I'm just sleep deprived ay
Hi
hi
Tbh I’m trying to upgrade my rtx 2080 ti
lets continue the discussion
i mean 3070 are selling for pretty cheap
Yea I’m looking for top of the line again
yeah im defenetly going to upgrade when they go down to around 800-700 dollars
well 2080ti oc'd is better than a 3070
well the 3070 is actually worth the price
600 vs 1000
you can oc a 3070 as well
then its better than the 2080ti
ye and my 2080ti still beats the 3070 oc'd
When I got my rtx 2080 ti i was pretty happy until a few months down the line
Fuckin 30 series came out
see my 2080ti beats the best 3070
it can ye
can beat the 3070ti too
If it can then jeez I might OC mine
it varies what card you buy
Well I got mine like last year
Im skipping the 30 series
To get a 40 series
Or whatever the next one is
you should be able to oc it to match the 3070 on your cpu
you wont get that 2nd rt core performance in rt stuff though
the 40 series are beating AMD by alot during testing
Damn nice
I’m looking forward to breaking my wallet
same
well it should
but the problem is that the 40 series are HUGE if the test models are final
I think my case could fit it
ill wait for amds next gen cards bc theyll outperform the 40 series if they keep up with what theyve been doing recently
I don’t Know but I always bought an nvidia card over amd I don’t Know why maybe I’m just so used them now
you cant be serious
Things massive
yeah
Lmao
No shit
well thats with like the most insane cooling rig
probably
you looked at that video, uploaded april 1st, and said "yeah, this is real"
"gddr7 vram"
i bet they just put a 3090 inside a 3d printed case XXD
oh wait XD
i didnt realise that
no thats defenetly fake
u know what, if you have a spare laptop monitor, u can use it as a normal monitor. :) idk why, but i had the great idea to stack another monitor on my laptop, actually works great :D
wait who has money for the 40 series?
I’m going to get the 40 series
okey cool
I’m going between 4080 or 4090 if they exist
yes
you wont be able to get one
There’s a micro center near me
too many cypoto dudes
I’m guessing they will have stock
they need to stop selling online
True
Yup
microcenter proved thats how you solve the issue
Idc if I’m waiting in a line for a day
but these big companies are run by absolute smooth brains that dont know anything about anything
As long as I get the gpu
Legit
If they sell shit online again especially after this year there sped
because they live such a sad pathetic life that they have to try to make everyone elses worse
Im renting a bot to buy me the 4090 super ti
get a life first
Why not just buy it like a normal person
And not ruin it for others
At least I’m going to go in person to buy it
I mean I have a micro center near me and my best buy and I've gotten over 10 cards in person between the 2 of them
Then do it again
should take my advice
🤡
I say it out of love, Shibe.
you just replied to yourself so.... I think I will fimd my advice elsewhere
for some reason i want to get a 3D printer, my friend recommended one to me which is about 170 pounds and its called the ENDER 3. does anyone have any experience with it ?
ender 3 is an extremely popular 3d printer, i only know this info because we bought a good friend a 3d printer and i was looking at that
iirc out the box its not that good, but since its so popular there are are ton of changes out there to get really good prints out of it
i might actually get one once if possible once i move house, but i need to watch some vids on how to set it all up first
@storm osprey You hate the honey combed mice don't you ?
no
hmm who was it then
anyway i found this vid
Just a short video to give yall some info. A few of yall were eligible but were unaware of it till I mentioned it in vc a few days back. Close call...
Also title is obv an exaggeration. You aren't gonna be a millionare but a free $600 from selling the starlight on the aftermarket is still welcome.
But let's be honest here, if you own any fina...
looks like clickbait to me
the title is definitely exaggerating, but which youtube title isnt?
basically if you have a finalmouse starlight, you get special access to the finalmouse starlight 12 mouse, which you can then sell for a hefty profit
i would genuinely buy stuff that would go up in price but when its in the 100's my parents wont let me because they think its a waste of money
call your parents smoothbrains
cant wait to live on my own
even just get a job tbh then i could buy stuff for myself and not have to beg my parents to get a new game for me
ehhh, theres a fine line of first moving out on your own and having expendable money
the people who get bots to buy gpus are virgins with no life
*RICH virgins with no life
yeah thats how rich people operate
what else do you do with money...
Donate some to charities
Help cancer kids
There are a lot of good things but people are assholes
id put those under spending as well
Rather rent a bot for 50 bucks to get me a gpu at msrp then buy one on newegg thats marked up. Butg you're right you can tell me how im wrong in what im doing
Golly i know people who charge more then 50 bucks for a "finders" fee
ok
i dont think hes particularly complaining about people using bots to get cards for themselves, but mostly complaining about scalpers/miners
even though there is a point of contention with people using a bot to get cards for themselves as its still an "unfair advantage" for people with more expendable money
That sucks
Ryzen 7 1700X to Ryzen 7 5800X on B450-F Gaming. Planning on doing that
That CPU was only 180 bucks on clearance, it has served me well since then
Thats gonna be a great upgrade huge gains. Yeah i have a few 1700x/1600x around and they are still amazing for their atm price point
You can get a used 1700x for around 100 bucks with a cooler
short reminder that RDNA3 conservatively is targeting 50% performance gains over the 6900XT lol
it's a MCM GPU any "Nvidia/AMD are winning by x" is premature and wrong
well which card is targeting those gains? the 7900xt or something like the 7800 xt?
can't say, what I can say is know that the baseline target is 6900xt performance for $550, final target specifications for the 7900xt and 7800xt are not final
it is a multi die GPU
those are minimum gains
expect more of a probable baseline of 70%
'7900 XT' has 3x shader count to 6900 XT, compute units are no longer a thing
512MB infinity cache
Still a 256-bit memory bus
16 or 32GB of VRAM
32 likely given that there's expected to be 2-2.5x the rasterization performance according to reliable leakers
Only 16GB wouldn't make sense
