Sure can.
next build is gonna be a micro pc no rgb (maybe a lil bit) and as passive cooled as possible
200% agree
No rgb
Wilde coming in hot with my pic
Rajta's PC.
i swear its set to purple
the phone makes them blue
also dont look at that gpu xD
its not a real gpu
Looks neat
Man that pump is chunky
would have been nice if i got arctic's 360 rgb rad
Sweet rig though.
thanks ^^

My eyes are pleased.
Those 4 slots of ram being full brings bliss to my soul.
Could have done 4x4 but the price wasn't that different
Also, another pic from Rajta.
Fun thing is I paid 400 euro for RAM alone
RGB đ¤Ž
looking much better now with the flash turned on
why did you paid 400 euro for RAM alone
There is never enough RGB.
im like, anti rgb
GSkill quality, I guess
Speaking of anti rgb I have a perfect pic for that
Can I dm
based arctic cooler though
Because in 2017 there was a huge problem with RAM supplies all over the world
send it ma
So DDR4 sticks were super expensive at that time
in 2017 i was chillin wid 32gb of ddr3 lol
literally 2 or 3 weeks before i bought mine
Looks sweet, except for the weird pump
Itâs not mine lol
oh lol
and i cant return it cuz i already mounted this rad đŚ
I have rgb sadly
yeah, thanks to asetek patent
other manufacturers need to come up with designs of their own
and also its like that cuz of that vrm fan too
but its really good for ryzen builds
cuz it has a square IHS
instead of a circular design
eyyyy, another liquid freezer, lets gooo
thats also a weird choice for a motherboard
whys that?
i believe that gigabyte model is their low end part
đ
depends which chipset it is tho
it work dho
Yeah it looks like it
its an okay motherboard, you just wont get much overclocking from it
do ryzen even overclock anymore?
yes
micro gaming x is not good
Overclocking isn't even really that worth anymore.
But with rgb you get 40% fps increase
i know
10% maybe
Is this a spreadsheet for ants?
but i'd rather have all 6 of my 5600x cores run at 4.6ghz instead of one core running at that frequency

Had a friend snag himself a 5900x platinum sample
from everything i found on my mb it can handle OC from 10900k just fine, and im using a 10700k
God I wish that was me.
Also gaming chairs give you 80% fps increase
i got an average 5600x
I saw that on Reddit lol
The 5800x I've got pushed 5.05 max
damn
why would you get an auros for a 5600x?
my setup: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2wWCTJ
not that OC for 5600x, or any recent cpu is that good anyway
so its not the high end aorus
I'm upset it is not orange.

Looks like their Nitro GPUs
the motherboard was like 165e
when i bought it
so i was like, eh why not
regular price was like 250e
That's a suspiciously good deal.
yeah it was xD
maybe not 250e, i might be remembering wrong, but it was above 200e for sure
while anything lower end, or a b550 was like 120e
so i opted for x570 for an extra gen 4 m.2 and more usbs
and better vrm too
Gigabyte is good choice
i might upgrade to a 5900x later
or get a zen 3 refresh
if it ends up worth it, but prob not
i got my mb for like 70 bucks off because of black friday
and considering that am4 is at the end of its lifespan
how often do you upgrade?
OC's are not worth it, and you can push some decent clocks even with a B550.
Mate with 5600x youâre easily set for the next 5 years
last time, 6 years ago xDD
we are arguably 2 years into 6c12t being the golden standard
but yeah
b550 was like 140e
the deal only lasted like 3 days
otherwise i would have gotten a b550
Itâs funny how the i3 is 4c 8t
Remember i7 6th/7th gen
dark days
if it wasnât for AMD we might have stucked in there lol
Competition is good
Competition makes companies works on themselves
@light wave you know what sucks with this and every other gigabyte/aorus motherboard, RGB Fusion 2.0
the program is complete ass
it feels like it was made in 2008, and was never updated
yeah, probably, i was good with a 6600k for 6 years
but i might do some stuff in the future thats gonna require extra cores
i bought 5600x purely for gaming
i also got flck to be 2000, so i can run 1:1 with my ram, which is a 4000mhz kit
Is it stable?
its not super low latency, its cl18, but i didnt want to break the bank with samsung B die
yep
i didnt even have to touch the voltage for it to be stable
I hear anything beyond 3600 isnât quite stable
it was an issue in the beginning
Legit?
fclk of 2000 was pretty much impossible to get
but after a few bios updates, they significantly stabilized it
by the time i bought this pc, enough bios updates released for it to be completely stable in my case
or i might have just gotten a cpu with a great memory controller
I honestly just use the xmp just to avoid unnecessary headache
Those who overclock have a good free time and patience
it was pretty painless in my case
Especially for the ram
took me like 30 minutes to an hour
Hahaha
i thought i would have trouble running flck 2000
but nope, i set it and that was it, worked fine
even with all core oc, it still remained stable
i mean, i got stable 4,6ghz immediately
i put like 1.4v
Did you get a lot from it?
and then i started decreasing the voltage
i mean, my current gpu is an hd 7770 xD
so i cant tell you how much fps it gained me in any game
Damn
but when i get a proper gpu ill test the out of the box experience
and oc
and i might try per core overclocking as well
to overclock my two best cores as much as i can
Good luck
i think my current voltage is 1.256
but even with like 1.42v i couldnt go past 4.6 ghz
i think i got 4.65 at 1.42v, and thats obviously not worth it
so i went down the voltage stack to find the last stable voltage
VGet is 1.256v if i remember correctly, and VSet is 1.244v
@proud trellis right, i just remembered, you can see your fan speed in HWMonitor as well
anyone got headphone recommendations? specifically for music and gaming with dolby atmos?
id like to keep it under 350 too if thats doable
also no headsets
i recommend the razer blackshark v2
thats a headset
Can i ask a tech question related to Battlefield in general?
This person is unable to play Battlefield games. It says the tick rate/latency isn't high enough to play online yet they can play any other game online
What game are they trying to play?
BF1 and BF4
What's their ping to the servers?
Unless they're on some weird VPN then the latency can't be too low
Well they said its 16 ping on BF1 and from 180 to 340 on BF4 but they play on their own continent/country
Ill ask them
That ping in BF4 is high enough that they'd get kicked for ping yeah
But bf1 should be fine
Well they said all games worked fine couple months ago but they suddenly all stopped working
It's something with their internet then
fuck nvidia
thats all
why do i have to sign in to use geforce experience
stupid ass company
i forgot my login to it lol
Just don't use GeForce experience
I legit don't install it when I update my driver's
I've only had it mess up once.
That's in like, I dunno, maybe five years of using it?
yea i just dont use it
well actually i installed it recently to try the gameplay clip part of it
can anyone tell me about the odyssey g5 from samsung?
i kinda wanna get it but idk if its good for the price
basically a product to show how much money you got to spend
The double width one
The screen I'd want is those 3440x1440 at 280Hz ones or whatever they are
With IPS and G-SYNC 2
anyone? is it good? is the hdr good or bad?
thats what i wanna know the most
look up a hardwareunboxed video
or go to rtings
i dont think any monitor is really good for HDR though
alright ty
granted, i think hdr is bad in windows itself
i heard the g7 is one of the few monitors with decent hdr so i wanted to know if the g5 had it good too
rtings says no
Huh? That monitor is like eight hundred bucks. What are you looking at?
Ah, the G5, not the G9.
lol same thing i did
honestly i might just get it simply bc its 1440p and 144hz
there a lot of 1440p 144hz options though
for the same price and size?

The only reason I haven't gotten a widescreen monitor is because my real estate is larger than that monitor. I have three 27" curved monitors in a continuous arc. If Samsung can come up with a monitor that matches that, I'll buy it tomorrow.
HWU did this video a couple of weeks ago
sorry i didnt know there was a 32" for 330
i might go for the g3 actually, its way cheaper, and the contrast ratio is way better
only 1080p and flat but thats ok
just until i can get the g7
itll make a good secondary monitor later on i think
i have 34" ultra wide and its the best thing i ever bought
second is good speakers
i mean 300$ at least for speakers
Did you know that there is a way to extend the life and more importantly performance of some older, Windows XP-targeting games? Albeit at your own risk.
No need to get good speakers if you have good headphones
Extend the life of Windows XP games?
I'm confused and curious at this
Me with good sounding headphones but has a cost of being uncomfortable when worn for long periods of times
You can always get both đ¤ˇââď¸
I do have both

It is a tool that allows x86 applications to be able to recognize and have access to a full 4GB of virtual memory, as opposed to just 2GB.
Most 32-bit gamesâespecially those targeting Windows XPâwould have only had 2GB of available system memory to detect and use, with the rest saved for the OS. On 64-bit systems, these pieces of software can now have access to up to 4GB of system memory to detect and use, provided one sets a flag in the executable to make it Large Address-Aware, or LAA.
This tool is a simple patcher that can be used to retroactively set that flag and expose more memory to the software. It is a required thing for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas modding, as one specific example of a use case where this applies.
Please be aware that it it not needed for some games, and is not needed for any Source engine game released using Source 2009 (MINERVA, E.Y.E., et cetera) or newer.
The AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT video card was announced today, starting the RX 6000 series competing most directly vs. the RTX 3060. The focus is on high-FPS 1080p gaming.
Sponsor: Crucial X6 External SSD on Amazon https://geni.us/mMN0
We're talking about AMD's RX 6600 XT video card release date, GPU pricing and availability, die size and production...
Pretty decent
Reminds how much power has gone up each gen
GTX 1080 was 180W with 450W recommended psu
Now the low end is 160W
GTX 980 was 165W
My guess is that the 6600 is meant to be Cali compliant and serve as a budget architectural upgrade to existing 6GB and 8GB card owners.
6600 XT performance is quite good
Indeed. It is a novel upgrade for holdouts on several-year old builds, and possibly represents something loosely akin to the Maxwell architecture cards NVIDIA had.
i hope nvidia learns from amd with their next gen cards
specifically with vram
they seemed to show that theyre taking notes with the 3060 having 12gb of vram
funny how the ti version only has 8 lmao
Oh, yes, Dedicated GPU Memory/VRAM. A truly defining factor in the ability to handle all of a game's assets, especially as the opportunity to preload becomes more realistic.
Otherwise, some other feature or performance thing will be used to market them.
I remember my experiences with attempting to handle the World War 3 Early Access build, which was notorious for using up quite a lot and causing 4GB cards to buckle and crash, other issues aside.
Still enjoyed it, though, even if its Warzone mode (Think Conquest, but with linked Objectives needed to score points and a Battle Points system for vehicles and other things) could not be joined for long.
maybe with the launch of the 6600xt amd will try to ramp up production of its other cards
i really wanna get my hands on a 6900xt if possible
As do I, although I have other concerns at the moment.
The Cali rules are only about idle power consumption and only in prebuilts
It's not about load wattage
It was a slight joke.
how close do you guys think ddr5 is?
Later this year
really?
Two years in terms of market spread.
they cant even make chips and theyre going to try and push out a new type of ram
It was planned before the thing.
Yeah long before
that doesnt mean they cant replan things
Pcie 5 is soon as well
pcie 4 just got here
With PCIe 6 being even more interesting than 5.
why even own a pc
ill just throw it outside since ill have to get new parts every month
Not really
Too bad. Moar bandwidth and other capabilities.
ill switch to console if this is the case
You should've seen the 80s and 90s then
Shibe would probably just own an Amiga or some other stalwart machine in those days.
how the hell does pcie 6 exist without 5
why even buy new parts
itll just get replaced in a week
by the time you get your hands on 5 theyll have like pcie 9 or whatever
And not really, for a long time it was just stagnated
Cause AMD and others did horrible
And most ran fine enough
so i should wait over a year to upgrade my pc bc my new parts will suck in a few months anyways?
Hey, it is just a bandwidth standard.
DDR5 is more important right now, unless you really want to see how PCIe 5.0 will be leveraged.
that was my point earlier
My 8700K is 4 years old now, but it still does well enough despite there being better cpus
You don't need to upgrade constantly
i just want them to make the parts that they announced before making different ones
the 3000 series cards barely exist and they will probably announce the 4000 series later this year
at least thats what ive heard
They can't change that
They're selling all cards that they're producing
Same with consoles
PS5 is Sony's most selling launch
where/when can i buy a 6900xt
that is all i need to know
like do we know when certain sites get stock?
There's some forums that keep track of that
there is that discords server that nyphon is always shilling
stock drops or something
yeah and it sucks
There's some stock of them in my country
its supposedly how he got his card
Mostly Nvidia though
theres decent stock here too now. but its all overpriced
at least last i checked there was
ok i take that back.
the only things in stock are the 3090 and the 3070ti in the big retailer here
they make the reference cards
AFAIK sapphire manufactures the pcb for amd reference cards
Great CPU. Was nice of AMD to force Intel to finally make a 6 core consumer chip đ
Indeed
I'll believe it when I see it.
Yeah, but it will take a while
And they are going to use RISC-V themselves quite a bit
After their partnerships with SiFive
Yeah
and if then when by how much and can windows run this ( linux doesnt matter )
Windows suck on it
i know arm can emulate x86?
dont remember exctly
Nvidia and mediatek is pushing arm laptops with linux
They showed recently running a game on arch Linux on it
but he refuses to give code
because "hes tired of ppl getting rich on him"
meanwhile he used amd drivers that are OPEN SOURCE
and linux that is OPEN SOURCE
to achieve this
lmao
Nvidia and mediatek is pushing it though officially
Well it always increase
honestly idk if ai is any smarter than in some games 15 yr ago
It's hard to get perfect
Also current games has to work on PS4 and Xbox one
did any game do actual fluid simulation with a cpu
Which has horrible cpus
Was meh when it released
Yeah
At least new consoles has 7 zen 2 cores for games
But it'll take a bit before they're utilized
utilized?
Especially with cross gen games
oh yea
i dont know how hard it gets
i rarely see game use over 2-4 cores
most games in the entire history of gaming dont use more than 1 core
I know
highest ive seen is singular of singularity cpu usage prob
but that is game benchmark not game
Well it varies
but from what i remember it was like this:
Most don't only use 1 now
some basic game usage - 1 core
physics -2 core
AI - 3 core
something something - 4 core
it looks like that
if it goes out of sync game breaks
it isnt?
then you have like 64 core cpus that not even software designed to use many cores can use and if it does it has literal delay for scheluding or calculating path to schelude the task
i dont know how game engine interacts with scheluder exactly
but even game like stellaris where it has many systems that can be split it took dev team a lot of time to implement higher usage
It takes a bit before software takes advantage of new tech
and like
from what i understand if you have high usage of resources on one system
and split it between many threads
syncing it is good luck
Depends on what it is
But yeah this part is not up to the game, its the scheduler
i heard there was long time ago some research paper from intel
on forcing apps to use multiple threads somehow
they trashed it out tho
gpus do parallel processing extremaly well dont they
Yes
Not the best at it but very good
A lot of mobile games only use 1 or a few cores @toxic zealot
Reason: less profitable for motherboard makers, more profitable for Intel
lmao
wasnt the thing with it that
it only shifts blame to motherboard
does it really help to change something in psus
without reading the article, the title alone will gain traction against intel because "intel bad"
Intel being intel
It also makes PSUs easier to do
With better efficiency
Cause it pushes it to motherboard
So benefits PSU makers, but makes motherboards more expensive
"There's a real reluctance, then, to move away from the now 25-year-old current standard."
read this far, i feel like if anything has been around this long its very reasonable to get changed
Intel made the 25 year old standard as well
i get no time to make a change like this is ideal though
!!specs
!!specs
Currently there are no official PC specifications released by DICE for Battlefield 2042.
Any specs floating around the internet are just assumptions or rumors.
so whats the advantage? is it more efficient ?
AT - IBM
ATX - Intel
BTX - Intel
ATX12VO - Intel
ITX - Via
Yeah
And lower idle
Which is most of it
On load there's not that much difference between most psus
but how do all of the 3 and 5v parts work now?
would like everything have to be redesigned ?
They get from motherboard
i see
So motherboard would have to do the work
it seems like a fix looking for a problem to me
Easy to get plat PSUs that way though
again. a fix looking for a problem
Motherboards don't need to be anymore expensive, X570 and Z590 boards are already too pricey as is
I know
Though that's also material issue
Component and material cost rising
Which is pushed onto you
Though there's still a decent amount of 150 to 180 USD boards
i guess nvidia tried to push 12 pin pcie and that just seemed to disappear
this could be the same situation
i dont know of any cards other than founders that use 12 pin
and the founders cards that do have them just ended up being adapted from 2 8pin to a 12
so no advantage was found
Stick to what's old, reliable and proven
đ
media outlets all said "ooh rn no psus can actually deliver 12 pin pcie out of the box, but soon!"
that never came about either
at least not to my knowledge
AMD obviously don't care as it was just nvidia who pushed it
And AIBs didn't want to spend the money on it I guess
if lower idle consumption is a pro to these changes wouldnt that help the whole banned in cali thing?
i cant imagine it being much more than a few % though
lets say all atx 12vo psus could get 80 plus plat. thats only 3% lower power consumption compared to gold
which is probably the average psu
it also doesnt concern where you live so it doesnt matter
i plan to move to oregon
do you?
Companies like Dell need to pay for each pc they want to sell there though
For certification
yea, its literally been a plan for 2 years now
the only reason we havent moved is my fiance got a new job that is contracted for 2 years
i loved it, huge change from arizona, hence why i want to move there
It only concerns idle power consumption anyway
Just wondering why ram has so much an effect on the allowance of how much power it may use idle
When ram barely use power
Prebuilts usually skimp on expansion on their boards so
I guess they'll just spam ram sticks
Inb4 prebuilts with i3 and 32 GB ram

RTX 4090 AD102 expected to have 450-500 watt TDP
when are 4000 series supposed to drop?
My 1000W PSU finally going to be recommended in a few generations
End of 2022
ahh ok

i was about to say, we havent even gotten a year with 3000
"Nvidia AD102 âAda Lovelaceâ & AMD Navi 31 âRDNA3â GPUs to be power chugging beasts, over 400W rumored for next-gen flagship cards"
Likely won't see air cooling for flagship
Reference cards with AIOs again when
Like Vega 64 LC
Regular Vega 64 used more power than my 2080 ti
Vega and 2080Ti both draw more power on average than what TDP suggests
Wish me luck.
i have it on my laptop. but i cant install it on my desktop because im using legacy instead of UEFI
Notice any difference in games?
how do i put unlimited frames in bf4
turn off vsync
and remove limiters
Is this steam deck ?
This isnât windows is it?
No, its fedora with gnome
is that cromeos
steam deck will use KDE and arch
Iâm not nerd enough to know what does that mean
Anyone know why my mouse isn't working in BF3 coop?
fedora linux with gnome desktop
So linux
there are none
steam deck will use steam OS 3 which is arch linux with KDE desktop
Because literally One game could take the whole 64gb
What is it equivalent to
dunno yet, only the steam deck has it
Whatâs the gpu specs?
RDNA2 with 8 compute units with DDR5 at 5500MHz
yea
So much faster than Vega graphics
Rembrandt should get announced for CES in January
it was intended to be the case in the first place, but radeon and ryzen teams don't work in same cadence or pace
so they kept vega
Vega iGPU will still exist when RDNA2 is on desktop APU
Just for very low-end stuff
yea
wish my ryzen 3700U had rdna
since i dont have dedicated on laptop
only on desktop
Does anyone have any semblance of a clue as to why I'm reprojecting frames in SteamVR Home
The stuttering is unbearable.
All this PC stuff and I'm like i got an xbox series s and it runs smooth đđ
ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
so will steam deck and most PCs
xbox series S seem to be in good stock here
i'd prefer if they only did X though
on the steam vr window, click the 3 lines, then see if "display vr view" is enabled
@quick locust why?
because everything in new gen will be limited by S since its the slowest by far of the 3
It isn't, and even when it is and the stutter bug isn't manifesting, I don't get a performance hit from that
then what do you mean by "reprojecting" frames?
I like how the series S looks though
If I enable the perf graph, I get a lot of pink spikes, which are reprojected frames
Which are also consistent with the incredible stuttering I'm getting
The series X compared to the S has more storage can run 120 fps at 4k instead of 60 fps (smoothly) bigger ram and stuff so loads things quicker and smoother. Thats sorta it....
It's way faster in terms of gpu
literally just for 4k support
Not too particular in terms of this stuff, I'm pretty shite at this stuff đ
oh, i guess you have to find them in stores then
the stock of them is much better than ps5 stock here
i couldve ordered it yesterday and got it shipped
I got the series s for the capabilities to run next gen games and to play at 4k 60fps
ps5 is just mostly gone
Yeah both xbox are pretty stocked where i live, no trouble getting one if you wanted
im only getting a series s bc its for my 8 year old brother
i thought to use 120fps you had to go down to 1080p
1440p
On series s i think so
it depends on game
But i run 4k 60fps so I'm fine
i run 1440 165 myself, is good time
even then the series s is 1440p 60 so its pretty alright
But im not investing in a monitor for the 120+ fps id rather a TV which i have so there is never any point in me getting a series X
there's some 120 TVs
Yeah like ÂŁ800 and are too big to fit where I'd need it
my tv is from 2006 but i rarely use it lol
I've got a 40" 4k google smart TV and that just fits where i need it, i was looking at 120hz TV but too big and pricy
mine is 26 in
Cool
close to my monitor size lol
Lol
but i never really have much to use my tv for beside my PS2
why are retailers scalping consoles
since that doesnt have hdmi
because anything with a computer chip is in shortage
Inflation baby
gpu's arent hit nearly as hard as stuff like the automotive industry
i just gotta hope theyre still in stock on ms website on sunday
they probably will be
lets be honest
I was lucky with my xbox, i was told by Microsoft (where i baught it) not to expect it till months later, i got it 2 weeks later
100+ in stock
i guess less demand for them here
since theyve had decent stock
and they are at msrp
theyre probably just producing more of them
while series X and PS5 is out of stock
What language is that?
as well as less ppl wanting them
danish
Cool
since they want to push digital games and all
Yeah
theyre probably easier to produce as well
Much smaller
smaller die and less ram
mhm
Literally the size of my hand
i heard that theyre super small
Die?
yeah
inside the processors and stuff
the processing unit itself
Oh right
under the heatspreader
consoles dont use IHS
i was just gonna say that
The hell is a hestspreader?
the flat metal thing on the outside that you put the cooler on
I don't build PCs soooooo.... đ
Yesđ
heres the series X die
fancy lookin
All righty
What is that?
the main board of the xbox series S
thats incredibly small
fan is massive
not really
Very low power consumption
just small console
well i mean, compared to the rest of it
series X
its an average sized fan over all
that heatsink is pretty big. i thought they had laptop sized coolers
I wanna know who's ripping up all these consolesđi should start a charity to help consoles in need
i wonder if someone will mod a series s to have a disc drive
Gorilla glue lol and a bit of duck tape
might not have connector for it
they just clip together like lego
besides USB
probably doesnt
would the console even recognize the game in it?
Dunno
im gonna buy a usb disc drive for my pc so maybe ill take an xbox one game and test it
ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Just plug a DVD player in the back USB portđ
i dunno whether its locked off or not
but yeah these consoles they can just put back together and they still work
Your name being green, what does that mean?
Sony even did a teardown video of the ps5
cause i have regular role and chose green
Role of what?
!!regular
âšď¸ The Regular role is granted to active, positive, courteous, and resourceful guests of the server. This role is earned, not given, and is conferred at the discretion of the server staff. With this role guests can post/embed images, execute a selection of bot commands, and change what color their name appears as in chat.
remember the ps5s malfunctioning in store displays
Oooo fancy!
i dont think they were ventilated properly
they were too focused on protecting the console
Clearly showing its max potential obviously i bet you can run 120 fps real smooth đ
took that picture today
it'd be fun if they had dark souls remake playing
seeing random people play it and suffer
Did you at least preoder tetris 2 đ¤Ł
đ naw
Evil manđđ
Oh right yeah đ
i might get steam deck though maybe
if you can count that as a console
which it isn't but
kind of
I don't even know what that is đ
I think it is a console
What if i rename my series s mini PC, do i then have a PC..... eh.. Eh,stonks!!
Yeah, stonksđđđ
a phone is a PC kinda
Phones now, starting to get pretty powerful
it is a PC, its not a locked system
a pc is a general purpose computer. something that can serve any function
a phone can do that, the steam deck can because you can install any operating system on it
a console cannot. hence its not a PC
yeah
Anyđđ
though I would not install windows on it
its not the first handheld device that can have windows installed on it
oh my paycheck came in early
i wouldnt install windows on it though
guess im ordering this series s rn
800p screen and no kb
POGGERS!!
POGGERS!!
yeah and the "locked down" part is what makes it a not pc
i know
although
PS2 and PS3 had option to install linux
officially
but still not PCs
What's linux
a kernel
if he doesnt know what linux is he wont know what a kernel is :P
Aah
it's what chromeOS and android is based on
Just smile and wave
they are just locked down
I need to learn python
wow that screenshot sucks lol
but i got that and a play and charge kit for the controller
im not great at it, I only use it for uni in my projects
Apart from is some coding software
now i just gotta get a monitor to go with it
Why Xbox series S?
Or 4k tv lol
its for my 8 year old brother
he dont care about the discs or 4k
all he has is a switch rn
and he will only be gaming in 1080p
so i think the s was the right choice
Yeah, probably
I reckon it will cause an minor issue at the end of the product life cycle (6-7 years from now). It seems this Gen will last as long as the last Gen
Coz people will get more disc games when they grow up
yeah, i wish they'd make it more powerful or skipped it
Which happened to my nephews
also the series s is way more readily avaliable
I wished the s model has a disc drive, thatâs all
or however you spell that godforsaken word
yeah theres always 100+ in stock of them here
while xbox series X is gone
and ps5 is gone
Iâm waiting for the slim version
however I donât play console games often, which is a shame
PS5 is nearly 4 inches taller than XSX
series X and S is already small enough imo
Lol
not much point making them smaller for me
if you know english you know python
I bought my PS4 but havenât used it for over 50 times
PS5 is a tall boy but still not huge for me
My NZXT S340 case is just an inch taller than PS5
well yes
id do the g5 for 1440p if the contrast ratio didnt suck compared to the g3
Oo
idk much about monitors but im guessing these specs are decent at least right?
my 24 in monitor cost more when i bought it
sadge
500 usd for it
not listed is the fact that its a va panel
those specs dont tell anything
where is covered color spectrum
where is backlight bleed test
I'll go VA or IPS next time, tired of TN
thats all best buy gives me lmao
where is actual response from black to black
@cloud solar I'd say it looks alright the no HDR might put me off though??
good contrast ratio makes up for it somewhat
good luck
itll be a while till we see oled gaming monitors
samsung VA is really nice
how expensive is microled
Those massive TV sized monitors are crazy
ok so the g3 has awful smearing issues
What's your budget?
i want to stay under 300
M27Q
i might go for the msi g27c4
That dollars?
yes
expensive still
need to get that display asap when i have money
and so far mostly TVs with it
170hz, wide color gamut, pretty decent response times, no ghosting at all, ips
Can't get any better with M27Q
im 30$ short after ordering the console lmao
no for the g27c4 i mean
