Yeh but the 3090 was made to be a content creator GPU, Nvidia did say that it will have slight performance increases, but in applications like video editing, mass colour correction etc. It was more made for that.

What is nice is when governments (believe the French one does/did this) force manufacturers or stores to release their RMA rates.
Problem is that brand loyalty is silly. For example A manufacturer that makes good motherboards can have a single model with lots of issues and one where most boards break often can have their most sold board not failing so often due to sheer luck.
Asus could have the lowest motherboard RMA rates and the highest monitor RMA rates currently and we would not know.

There is some other advantages like the power being cleaner making the hardware last slightly longer but that makes most sense for power users. In general I like to say the hardware should fit together, no reason for a top end motherboard if you have a low end cpu/gpu, but it's also stupid to have an entry level motherboard and sticking a Ryzen 5900x + 3090 on it.

My first CPU was a AMD Thunderbird (T-Bird) at a whooping 1GHz w/ front side bus speed at an incredible 133MHz. The machine came with 16MB SDRAM...and since I was gonna game on it I popped in another 16MB stick. My original GPU was a ATI Radeon at 32MB.

Triple monitor battlefield is the most awesome thing I have ever seen.

The bad part is that I would need three 1440p monitors to keep from having to run them all at 1080p.
Then at the same time, a 3080 might not be able to handle 3x 1440p
I was able to run one 32in and a 27in on each side of it "all at 1080p".
It is basically cheating though.

should be pretty snappy for general desktop use
