the heck's a battlefield companion app?
Its available for Android and Apple
You can see progression (BF4 and BF1), manage platoons and see friends
oh like battlelog ig
It doesn't really support BFV, but you can still use the platoon section

@fallen harbor you considering working holiday?
oh
earn great money
nah, coz i know the pc part prices are too high in your country
So ive cloned my hard drive with my os on it. Its working perfectly no issues at all. Really satisfied. If anyone wants to know I´ve used minitool wizard partition 9.1 version. The newer one is not for free.
How many more GB do my GPU get if I install rgb?
20+
Thx
15-20 terashits
Just ordered rgb fans I hope I get some fps boost
My friends told me it should work
i cant tell if ur joking or fr

Haha nah but tbh I saw once a guy someone actually fooled

cheap noctua fans gang
Noctua fans look like dog poop smeared on a ceramic plate
fairly accurate statement
They do have other colours

You know people are meant to heat up their system before removing it
hmm, cant say ive ever particularly done that
not that im pulling apart cpu/cpu coolers commonly though
Never done that with any PGA socket
Seems like the default thermal paste that comes preapplied with AMD stock coolers does it the worst tho
The thermo paste on Stock cooler yeah
I've only ever used LGA so haven't had it happen to me
You know the PGA intel processors tho
Yeah
I was using those back then
I've got a PGA Intel CPU
I think mine was Pentium 4
Threadripper
The cpu is stuck on the cooler?
Can’t remember which model was it, since they didn’t name it
No point of getting threadripper coz the top of the range r7 can do 70% of it
Which btw, Milan is announced in 4 days afaik
EPYC 7643, EPYC 7663 and EPYC 7763
the 48 core seems equal to the current 64 core in multicore
Yep
gimme dual Epyc 7763
@modern gull Yeah its an image I stole off reddit
I wonder how Genoa will compare to Mystique
AVX-512 and BFLOAT16 instructions
you can't even buy an EPYC CPU
Xeon is in a pickle

the lower end you can
you can even buy POWER cpus if you wanted to
the high end they dont sell it for the avg consumers
its mostly for enterprise kind of processing
lul how does that happend, did they welded it or something?
yeah i totally can't buy them
having a store to have access to EPYC cpu's is rare
most end up in data centers or as processing units for companies
I know, but you can still buy them like this
I mean Iam not even surprised its in denmark
the 7702P is 5200 usd before tax here
since denmarks capital is beyond different from most EU countries
well i am danish so i just searched it
yeh most of EU stores just tell you to go look somewhere else
can buy xeons as well
eh I mean xeons you can buy them anywhere tbh
a lot of the xeons seem to be out of stock though for some reason
since they're the most common used if you wanna build yourself a server
xeons are good ngl
not compared to epyc and ampere
and mystique will destroy them even more lul
Although they both have lower production than intel does
iirc
from my time building some server rackets most partner prefer intel over amd, literally 8 out 10 was intel xeons into it
both for data storage or for data processing
hm ryzen 3100 is in stock, those arent in stock that much
and yeah i know, intel has majority
depends from customer from customer
some ask pre selected parts
some just say whats best over performance price and warranty
i dunno why amd made this one though
other than for market segmentation for SIs or something
is the same price as 3600
then again intel has the 10400 and the 10500 which is nearly same cpu
10400 is a bit faster than 3600
i meant 10400 compared to 10500
in gaming alone i think they are within 1% eachother
thats only like... one part of many that decide a cpus performance
nvm, seems like its 5% faster
which.. is still not a lot, the main point here is that 10400 is cheaper
hey everyone, i have a question regarding battlefield 1's performance. I bought the game today and played a couple matches, but the performance was pretty weird. I would get about 50 fps with a lot of frame dops on max graphics and lowering settings didnt really do anything. Are there any settings is should turn down/off to increase performance? I still want to have some good graphics while playing the game. Keep in mind my computer can run red dead redemption 2 on 50/60 fps on max settings
lemme look
processor is a intel i5 9400 cpu
8gb ram
gpu is a nvidia geforce 1660ti
and graphics card?
ah ok
are you running any other background softwares while you play?
like chrome/firefox or any explorer
or whatever
does your hdd/sdd have the enough free space needed?
thats fine
as long as you have at least 50gb free space iirc
your cpu and gpu are more than enough for the game. Your ram is tight though, but it shouldnt make your game stutter
maybe i'd suggest disabling DX12 if you haven't yet
im playing with dx10 i think
also make sure your resolution scale is 100%
the game doesnt support dx10 iirc, only 11 and 12
mightve been 105% so ill check it
oh then its probably something else
you can try disabling "origin in-game" from the origin client
it causes stutter in some pcs
np, let us know if the problem still persists

what happend to his eye lol
Didn't he get roughed up by nvidia?
Jensen didn't like what he had to say in the video about driver overhead

ngl that is sad those nvidia drivers
Nvidia wont fix this in the near future i assume?
they got hotfix for every driver these days btw
Ram = storage
Somewhere in Q2 of this year AMD could announce: FidelityFX Super Resolution, Rembrandt, Zen 3 refresh, RDNA2 refresh
😔 what does it do then
RAM contains the data that the programs/OS that is running needs right now
Very quick access essentially
To your cpu, the central processing unit that does nearly all calculations needed in your pc
long term storage is ssds and hdds
Programs are made of thousands of tiny and simple logic equations called instructions. These are what make up a program and the cpu calculates and finds the value to these instructions. Ram is super high speed memory that stores upcoming, running, frequently used, or required instructions for the cpu to execute. The cpu goes through something called the fetch execute cycle which is fetch the instruction from ram, decode the instruction, execute the instruction and output the value
Oh so ram is like the most important thing
In terms of computer responsiveness? Not really.
Mostly matters that you have enough
Would be cool if we could install OS on RAM
You can
Because the instructions still need to come at some point from the non volatile secondary storage (hard drive) and that's basically where the "waiting for programs to load" comes from
Files being pulled from the hard drive to the ram
Won't it erase when you turn off pc
Tails OS works this way
Leaving little evidence
But you can do it with most OS
You can also do it on vram
If you wanted to
How tho?
If Windows 10 was installed on RAM wouldn't it be way snappier than an SSD
yes and no
a lot of stuff in windows is still single threaded so that will be a limit
@supple bane RAMDisks
If you had every program installed on ram, it would load faster but not run faster
But its a physical limitation of ram tho, it has no way to store values after a loss of power
What if motherboards had OS ROM storage built-in
@supple bane Yes, although some servers use optane for persistency layer
Make motherboards with integrated SSDs built-in
Yes but problems is what if the ssd fails
You can install it in ram, no ssd needed if youre going that way lul
Solder on a new one
Mac OS had rom chips and well it was removable
Well I guess servers wouldn't shutdown do thats not really an issue in that case
Even if you did they'd have that to save it
And if they do like you said, they have secondary storage there just in case
Most servers would lose what is loaded in ram
Just that some newer has optane persistency

the 2019 module
lol
Oh so its an actuall dimm stick, not just an ssd
yeah
cheaper than dram but slower with more latency
but much faster than other ssds
The integrated memory controllers on Intel 11th gen Rocket-Lake CPUs are gimped heavily, leading to insane cache degradation
12th gen also only goes to 8 performance cores
yeah
When is 11th launching again?
plus who knows what shenanigans windows will do about it
Windows 10 is not built around utilizing different types of CPU architectures in one SoC and the core scheduler would require a lot of work to make it somewhat efficient
12th gen seems to be focused around Windows 10X imo
@supple bane A weeks time iirc
Wat
I've literally heard no real news about them at all
And it was only last summer 10th gen launched
Thats insane
12th gen is late 2021
Every generation intel is falling further and further off the map it feels
@latent light would do fine in bsd and linux
AMDs milan is in 4 days
On monday
Though I dunno how much supply issue there will be for them
Milan?
Oh
Oh so they actually are calling their processors after places
Last was epyc Rome right
yeah
Can't wait for epyc birmingham
next is genoa
"Lets name the most powerful cpu's in the world after cities in Italy"
Wonder if we will see more than 64 cores this time
96 cores on a single socket
Not on milan
48, 56 and 64
but the 48 core performs like the current 64 core in multicore
Dang
I don't keep up with server releases, but did intel ever manage to make something that out performs the 7742?
I've never heard any of those names :)
epyc then ampere then xeon
I always was under the assumption the 64 core epyc cpu was the most powerful server cpu, with the 3990x taking desktop
Wait that doesn't make sense because the 3990x is also 64 core, but higher clock speeds
Infact iirc the 3990x was identical just less pcie lanes, less ram capacity etc
But a higher xlockspeed
yeah less features but higher clock
and it uses chipset which epyc doesnt
@supple bane
On monday we'll see how milan does
lul
About 25% faster per-core performance

86MH/s lmao
thats less then the 3080
WOAH
thats nice
i play bfv with a 1050ti
and i put it into a 2005 office dell pc
No cap
what settings and fps do you get?
I think like 55-60 fps
what settings?
default settings

i only change the controls a bit
low, medium, high?
oh
I only had lag issues before but i fixed the internet
so gameplay is smooth with not much issues
Wow

Value king
I have the Athlon X2 4000+ inside the storage box at my parent’s place
I ordered more storage
I paid for 70USD (including tax) for this 4TB drive
Coz it is a barracuda drive inside Seagate expansion desktop. I cracked that open
taxes made this like 89
So I saved money but I have lost the 3 years warranty

GT710 can be slower than the iGPU from the CPU
Its not the gpu most likely
Either background task messing with your cpu or just some maps being too hard on the cpu
open task manager and check your cpu usage
while playing the game
and quit any problematic task eating it all up
not rly
That can really tax the cpu in games when its doing background recording
sometimes service host diagnostic policy can eat up 25% of my cpu
Its just one of the background programs that can do it
so I just quit it and gain a lot more fps
An example
yeah
Rx 570 decent for battlefield 1 right ultra
yes
ok
is battlefield v a cpu intensive game? people with the same gpu as mine can get up to 70 fps on ultra, but i only get 30-40 fps on medium
its probably one of the most cpu intensive games out there lol
As far as I'm aware it may actually be
Flight simulator is in close competition, but that just needs SCP flowing out the asshole
It doesn't care about core count like bfv
okay, i just bumped my settings up to ultra and it's more playable now
still 30-40 but less stutters overall
Specs? @prime jasper
1050 ti
i3 3220
12gb ram
3rd gen ouch
yeah..
came with my dad's work pc lol.. like ive built a pc straight out of a junk pile
I got it for cheap a few years ago. I was mostly a ps4 player
your gpu is more than enough for any bf game
but yeah that cpu
just to give you an idea even the i3 6100 struggles to reach 60fps in bf1 and bfv
i think you can only expect to have stable 60fps up to bf4 if you use dual core
bf games are cpu intensive but that doesnt mean you need a high end cpu either
just a decent 4 core cpu will do 60fps and a bit more
i have an i5 8400 (6c) and i get like 90fps on high settings on bfv
and that isn't even high end
I have an i5 4460 with 4 cores and i'm playing in 45-55 fps
i wouldnt say the 4460 qualifies as decent for today standards
Agree
an old but still decent quad core would probably be the i7 3770
or smthn like that
i mean the 4460 will still allow you to play any modern game anyway
so its actually not bad if you think of it that way
but its not good if you want very fluent experience in demanding and competitive games
but im sure you get more than 100fps or 150fps on valorant and cs
I'm trying to find a i7 3770 but it's just unable to find it in my country
and ow
Yeah dude
im sure you could get something more modern of similar power for a cheap price
I hage a B85 and it will take more money to change motherboard
as far as im aware the i3 9100f is stronger than the i7 3770
oh yeah and the ram
f
I think 9100f is quite a bit stronger than 3770
ye
Well obviously going from 3rd gen to 9th gen
the only thing that the 3770 has that the 9100f doesnt is 8 threads but thats of very little importance
if any at all
Single thread performance means a lot actually
after all i think the 3770 max clock speed is 3,90ghz
or 3,80
when the 9100 is 4,20
but yeah also lots of new architecture detalis
the 9100f is a very good cpu for its price if u ask me
unless u wanna go full rgb pc gaymer
Yes you are very cpu bottlenecked.
4 core cpus will get ruined by bfv, very stuttery, and that's a 2 core
welp time to get a job
it do be like that
the performance is so fucked up
the performance is so broken it should be way better
my pc is really good i shouldnt have stuttering on medium settings
well what cpu do you have
and did you try future frame rendering on
how do i turn future frame rendering on
but what is your cpu?
and also turn dx12 off
it causes stuttering
intel core i5
should i have it in fullscreen instead of borderless
i have dx12 off
but i dont see future frame rendering anywhere
fullscreen gives better fps
that shows brightness
just dm me a screenshot of the whole advanced
How can i be a ISP in my area ?
there is something very wrong
i should be able to run this game 60 fps max settings
but now i have 10 fps on medium
it keeps getting worse
there is something very very wrong
@hushed jolt are you sure that you're using your graphic card and not microsoft basic ?
That problem happened to me ones
its using my graphics card im pretty sure
Ok
oh my god i only gget 250kb ps wifi
my wifi is just broken
wait how do i make sure im using the graphics card
cuz it might be using something else
Msi afterburner
??????????
It's an application that you can download for free
It can detect your gpu and cpu and ram
He doesnt mean that
@hushed jolt do you have an nvidia card?
With nvidia drivers
If so go to nvidia control panel > 3d settings > select the application and see if it runs on the nvidia high performance
its using the driver
actual tech question how do i make it so my pc gets more wifi i get less than 1% of our wifi network
ethernet cable
what
an ethernet cable
You most likely won't get that max speed all the time
Ethernet cable is the 1st thing
Maybe try switching ur router to 5ghz
If it isn't far away
make sure ur router is facing towards ur pc too
not sure that would do much
point the antennae to your room
i could try using the 5ghz
it can help
5ghz wilk help
Better wifi card and antennas, being closer to router, using 5 GHz wifi
Opposite
No lol
oh fuck
swear down years ago you had shit internet because it wasnt facing towards your ps4 ?
or am i wrong ?
that was years ago, way before i knew anything about tech. it was probably just a coincidence
oh
Oh and dont use those tiny crappy usb dongles for wifi
yeah lower frequencies are always better at range
Higher frequencies are easier to stop
radio frequencies like 14 mhz can very easily transmit signals that circle the earth
Same with sound
using very little power too, with a good antenna you can transmit using like 50w and circle the earth easily
There is 60 GHz wifi too which is fast but can be stopped by you just walking between source and pc
lol
That's just useless then
i wouldnt say useless
if you have a few servers in a room, it could save running cables
So if you have them in each room theyre usable
although id guess it would be MUCH more expensive than a 10gig nic and switch setup
so maybe it is useless still
60 ghz, to me that sounds really expensive
and 10 gig network hardware is kinda slow now. and its pretty cheap iirc

how big is your house?
60GHz gets blocked fast
Doesnt have to be big
Infact I think the first wall would stop it
Since I have all brick
dual 2.5 GBe and dual TB4 on a B550 board

🤨
11900K and 11700K dies are about 30% bigger than 10900K's die
Maybe that helps spread out the heat but definitely increases manufacturing cost
how does that help though?
More die area usually helps with temperatures but maybe not with Sunny Cove architecture
Ah
what card is that @lost venture
1660 Super
What's wrong?
They put a MSI Gaming X 1660 Super which is one of the most expensive models of that GPU but they cheap out on the NVMe SSD and RAM
RAM is probably CL17 2666

@lost venture Looks fine to me, only advice for future reference maybe get a bigger ssd or hdd to storage stuff
Noways 500gb can fill easly
what gpu did you have lol
oh damn
yeah, my old pc had something around a terabit with an HDD
did you sell it or are you making a secondary
lol
1660 Super is up to 30% faster than 1060
Not a big difference but your CPU upgrade is probably the biggest change

If old PC was from 2009 it must of had an Athlon CPU in it or some shit
what did you do with the 1060
oh

gonna give it to my grandma

Farmville 8K 240 fps
lol
@lost venture how much did that prebuilt PC cost
Not bad considering how graphics cards prices are
CPU $150, motherboard $70, RAM $60, SSD $60, GPU $260, PSU $50, legit Windows 10 key $100
gonna have to buy photoshop aswell
damn
Case is probably $50
Going from 1660 Super msrp

you guys are funny lol
260$ msrp lmao
$260 is how much the MSI Gaming X costs before shortage
During a semi conductor crisis and a cryptomining fever
fucking hell i could not havevpicek a worse time to say
ahh yes i shall upgrade my pc
Good point "before"
Shortage is gonna clear up by 2H

whats 2h
Second half
of the yaer
The thing is dunkin bought it recently so in the end at the price he paid he's winning for that bargain
got that MF dub
AMD CPU shortage is clearing up some, the 5600X and 5800X are in stock and at normal prices

Their GPUs steadily going up
Gpus prices are indeed going up
here me out dude, just make more cards... well hot damn problem solved
thank me later everyone
3070 for 1300€
oof
And amd cant even supply enough gpus because part of the APU is to also make the ps5 and xbox one x
Nvidia shortage is result from two things: 1. Poor Samsung chip yields 2. Panic from pandemic and canceled a lot of orders
and the rtx 3000 cards being too cheap at stock
The crisis is enough to know that world governments plus private industries all together put a total of 1 trillion plus in dollars to build factories of semi condutors and chips
People forget the market isnt just intel/amd/nvidia
so my question is
when the fuck will i be able to get a decent price on the 1660 super
casue im starting to get a little sad
RX 6700 XT is gonna be in massive supply apparently, more so than the entire Navi 21 product line
Same said companies such as samsung, Qualcomm, ARM, TSMC are supplying car factories and 90% of recent eletronics
you can get a rtx 2060 for a decent price
So if someone tells me in a fever for gpus to make money or/and in the middle of a eletronic components crisis says that the market is fine idk man

@weak girder how much for a 3070/3080?
A bit expensive e
Iam here still trying to snag a 3080 near msrp. Could have bought an amd but they're just bad for work porpuses
What do you have currently
1070

Does the job for now
850
Yeh I work with 3D
but Im in the only country which has stock lol
USD or EUR?
USD
If you ever get that 3080 and need to get that 1070 off your hands I’m always willing to spend a little money
Nvidia and AMD are delaying low-end products such as GA107 and Navi 23 because those will face the huge demand of the value oriented crowd. Expect RTX 3050/3050Ti and RX 6600/6500 series in the summer time.
I have extra plans for it

Can use it as a holding gpu while use the 3080 for renderings
While semi condutors demand keeps going up and supply getting lower, yeh dont wait for stock only marketing of it
I think Imma buy a 2060 around May if the prices are not too high
since I finally have the money saved up
Lets see how things turn around with the pandemic ending
Tbh of crypto stays at this rate in the future gpu demand is gonna be bad still even with a normal follow of fabrication
Supply is getting better, at least in the case of AMD. Ryzen CPUs, Radeon GPUs, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are being seen in stock more often across most North American retailers compared to a couple months ago
Unless a crash happens lol
I mean we can look at a chart of demand for gpus
Around 60-70% is nvidia alone
Demand for GPUs skyrocketed because GPU mining started trending again
If you ever wanna get that 1060 off ur hands
sure
tbh
I wont have a use for it

bur youll have to pay me
Lol
I’m very aware of that good sir
I can give you my imac
I have money
it would summon a sandstorm

Cooler master case
lmao
Availability of Radeon RX 6700 XT will be better, but still not great AMD has been preparing for this launch for weeks now. The upcoming 479 USD graphics card from AMD will see more stock at launch than other RDNA2 cards, this is a commonly repeated sentence by many journalists who have gathered information from […]

I got myself an absolutely nutty pair of headphones
Lol that's a lot better than the launch of the 6800XT, which only had like 80 available to all of Europe
Still not good tho
is 1080ti any good?
i wouldnt buy one now unless you get a really good deal. but it still holds up very nicely
still holds up with the latest cards. not far from a 3060ti
not a 1080ti
your budget is 1k right?
if gpu prices are normal by the end of the year I think you can be a pc with an rtx 3060, i7 10700k, 16gb ram
but right now you cant do much
yeah seb my budget is 1k maximum
i don’t know much but if you believe that i could have those specs by the end of the year, it’s looking promising
i have heard that a 3060 is top quality
i was gawking at current prices but wasn’t comparing it to the shortage
id spend less on the cpu and more on the gpu
3060ti and like 3700x if they are still around by then
easier to cool, cheaper mobo and cheaper chip whilst still wont bottleneck a 3060ti at 1440p
We may not see new lower end GPUs such as the RTX 3050Ti, 3050 or RX 6700, 6600XT, 6600 until summer time
the i7 10700k is cheap for what its worth
you could buy an i5 9400f and encounter no problems but its good to keep future proofing in mind
btw what are the rtx 2060 prices for everyone rn?
Cooler, quieter and cheaper than Noctua NH-U12S and U12A
I guess 0 because theyr out of stock
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is not the best choice for miners Some good news is coming from cryptocurrency mining blogs, which received the first details on RX 6700 XT mining performance. Cryptomining Blog reports that AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT will offer around 43 MH/s hash rate in Ethereum mining, significantly less than RX […]
6700XT is 25% slower in mining Ethereum than last gen 5700XT
Uses more power and costs more too
Oof
that could be great for gamers then as miners would most likely go out and buy 5700xt instead of 6700xt
After nvidia said they would make 3060 be slower with mining trough drivers, it made me think maybe 3080 is the same as 3070 just limited somehow
I mean nvidia might be trying to do that for other reasons then mining making a second card for mining then if a drop in bitcoin drop then they will try to sell it but that card is useless and becomes ewaste
mhm
ngl doubt my next gpu gonna be nvidia anyways. saw a video the other day nvidia drivers gives less fps
also nvidia drivers is currently a joke. each new driver gets an hotfix.
Talk about selling a car without tires
amd is the same if not worse
why?
Just hit it with the garden hose, turn it on right after so the fans help dry it out
lol
the fans are rlly dusty and i cant do anything with it in the case so im just gonna take it out
yeah but why is that scaring you ?
incase i drop it or something
then just dont drop it
before i do anything...when i put it back on do i need to do anything or will my computer just turn on and just be normal
yeah i will
boys, just found out that my cousin knows people that buy parts directly from the manufacturers
i’m set
try eating
i do but im full
i’m about to eat
so i have to wait till i empty myself again
wdym loaded fries? did you put them inside a sniper barrel or something
oh
doesnt matter, since there's pirated drivers that allow you to still bypass
Oh i see
even with the 3060 "nerf" its only for the ETH type of algorithm on which if you mine something else works plus with ETH 2.0 next year (as per what the devs claim) its gonna be complete useless

not the first time AMD/Nvidia try to put these nerf in the cards
happened 2 years ago
and was easly bypassed with hacked drivers
with the RX 500 series and the 10 series
also ETH and BTC hit ATH today, getting worse and worse for who wants to get a gpu like me
What is ETH 2.0 gonna be like
Not reliant on memory bandwidth?
If ETH devs want RDNA2 cards to be useful for mining, the algorithm would have to be programed to depend on L3 cache or "Infinity Cache"
devs are keeping it very closed to themselfs
if they spoil people will start stack for it to then scalp or take full advantage
RDNA2 are already usefull
RDNA2 is pretty useless value wise for mining
Iam confused rn
RTX 3070 is faster at mining than AMD's highest end
Going off of ETH, BTC and alt-coins
what I meant is do you know how its calculated the mining speeds
because AMD's are as good as nvidia at mining even more rentable per its price
the 6800 XT which is equivalent to the 3080 has similar hash rates
6800 XT has around 58-65 MH/s (same hashrate as the 3070) meanwhile the 3080 around 78-86 MH/s

RTX 3080 is the perfect mining card
no
if you really want to calculate it its more about Hashrate to how much you can mine in a day
if you bought a 3080 at MSRP yes, if you bought at current prices no
also the 3080 consumes more energy even undervolted
which adds to the pernalty cost
right now at the prices of AMD they're better then the 3070 upwards
with 3070 going as low as 1300€
The 2 year old 5700XT at $400 launch MSRP is nearly as fast at ETH mining as the $650 6800XT and $1000 6900XT
Tbh 5700/5700XT should be more attractive to miners than the whole RDNA2 product stack
they still are bad due to the GDDR6X
I remember back 2 years even a year ago the best cards were the 580 from radeon
low power use, saves you couple grand
cheap cards
Yeah mining companies could buy RX 580s in bulk at $100 a piece or less
also some AIB's made 580's that were dedicated for mining
which was a good vantage over any card
RX 580 was good at undervolting right?
wasnt worth it
Did people buy Vega cards for ETH?
man my grandparents had been using a very old and shitty pc for long so i got them a new pc
and i think i made a big mistake
why
they can't use their printer nor his webcam because they are also old and not compatible with w10
and now they got this "your pc ran into a problem" loop
and it seems it has no fix other than formatting
ffs
and they call me all day for these things because its kind of my responsibility i suppose
fml
are itx cases problematic at all?
Pretty much yes
An itx case will always be harder to build in and worse temps than a bigger alternative
Often more expensive too
But they look cool and are... small (duh)
so terrible for a beginner but if you’re experienced and know what doing you can make it work
n yeah they look cool
i’ll just go for a mid tower
they can call tech support
ah yes
my friend seb
seb understands me
seb is an ally
dont worry my child
you will be remembered during the andocalypse
you wont be harmed

yo why does bf4 look so bad on xbox
720p with no anti-aliasing used, for some reason they don't enhance the game for the One X or Series X\S
on the xbone ?!
congrats your 4tb seagate has arrived
Yeston is the first AMD board partner to showcase a white edition of the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics cards. Yeston Radeon RX 6800 XT waifu edition Chinese AMD board partner is preparing its first custom design based on Radeon RX 6800 XT SKU. The graphics card appears to be a full custom design, including […]
Love the aesthetic tbh
damn
Yeah buy an insanely good PSU and just hold off on a GPU for now as they all are 2-3x their original prices or out of stock
Actually don't buy an overkill PSU
Rather an extra SSD because storage upgrades are always good

Only GPU you can get for under $400 in the current situation is maybe a GTX 1650 Super lol
@latent light Buy like a good psu like 850 or 750w if he wants 3070
also my vita is officially jailbroken
time to install gta 3 on it
after I get sd2vita working
Anyone know if Xbox supports mouse and keyboard for BFF
Don't know really but you can do research cause I play on PC
Gpu is hard to get but if u wanna try. Go for an FE 3060ti since those are ways sold at msrp which is 400$~ at whatever stores sell them in the US
For a PSU u can try go for a gold 80+ full modular somewhere between 750-850 watts, should be around 100$
Just get 650w gold
700w gold is the safe zone
No I am saying 700w zone is the safe zone for upgrades on your PC
you could go a bit lower
Worth going for gold with longer warranty period (5 -10 years, instead of only 3, representing the product is expected to last at least before the warranty ends.
Still, 10 years warranty is a really long time. Meaning you can replace your computer twice, or maybe three times before it runs out of time in the warranty period
Yeah, that's how mine is
And yeah that is a good investment actually. If the PSU died, take to back to replace it
Within the warranty period
The meaning of bronze silver gold plat on psu's is the components grade used
At this point I wouldnt go for a watt graded psu would just buy a 12 volt and do e but buying a high wattage psu rn is more of a future investment for upgrades
@turbid verge Technically it is just an efficency rating
Yes better components can get higher effiency, but the rating is just the effiency itself
Most bronze PSUs are just fine
There's not many crap PSUs anymore except for a few mistakes and/or wish psus
EVGA never buying again lul
also XFX is on my blacklist for psu's
seasonic is maybe the best PSU brand you have
they literally produce components for other PSU brands

For the most part yes, mine is seasonic based too
And yes that's how it is mostly
Corsair don't make their own
for example
I once had Corsair white, it was better than the xfx/evga
Neither does evga
xfx one broke pretty quick, evga one has insane amount of coil whine
funny thing both was alot more expensive than corsair one also
Many of corsairs is seasonic based, at least their higher end
Maybe i just stick with corsair or seasonic from now
anybody can help me on pc battlefield 5 my game is laggy as hell when i try to make it look good but i want it to look good and not lag any tips?
isnt too bad tho
Quick tip would be low graphics settings
What's your specs
specs?

um my graphics card is a geforce rtx 2060
should be just fine in bfv with rtx off
pretty good i think
yeah
what is the setting called?
DXR
k
like how people still call directx raytracing, rtx
visual settings right?

Although AMDs raytracing still kinda sucks
i put dx12 on?

now i can play 8bit Valheim at 140fps instead of 60
