back in 2013 ish i had gtx 660 sli. I had about the same performance as an 970, basicaly 2 generations ahead in performance. Not all games gave you this amount of boost. also since many engines dont natively support sli i had to use nvidia inspector for alot of games to get sli to work which was pretty annoying so that was my first and last time with sli. now i just buy 1 single high end card instead.
